A preview video was released for episode 2 of Lycoris Recoil on Tuesday on the official Aniplex YouTube channel. The upcoming episode is titled “The more the merrier” and will air on Saturday, July 9, exclusively on Crunchyroll.

Last week’s season premiere left a lasting impression as it kickstarted the series off in a major way. With wonderful exposition and plot development, Lycoris Recoil seems to be spearheading itself to be one of the better series out of the entire Summer 2022 lineup. With this week’s episode, it looks like Chisato will be dragging Takina along on some missions and getting into all kinds of nerve-wracking situations. And it looks like the hacker could make another appearance in this episode as well.
Lycoris Recoil is an original anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Sword Art Online‘s chief animation director, Shingo Adachi. The original story for Lycoris Recoil was created by Asaura, the same creator for the action-packed comedy series Ben-To. Among the cast is Chika Anzai as Chisato, Shion Wakayama as Takina, Ami Koshimizu as Misuki, and Kosuke Sakaki as Mika.
