Nagasaki prefecture, in Japan, is a magical kingdom. While the wizards that live there are unable to cross the ocean, and are trapped in Kyuushu, they still pose enough of a threat that Americans dropped the bomb on them during WWII. The residents are worried that this will happen again, especially if the regular humans decide magicians are a threat.

Daughter of the most powerful wizard alive, Mizukura Risuka is ten years old, and living outside Nagasaki, searching for her father and killing evil wizards. Her blood contains spells that control time, and allow her to fast-forward her own life. Her ultimate technique kicks in only when she dies bloodily—her blood will reform into herself at 27, at the height of her powers, for one minute.

Her guide through the world of normal humans is Kugi Kizutaka, also aged ten. Kizutaka is a genius, and a sociopath. He believes the only way for people to be happy is to be ruled by him and views everyone he meets as a potential pawn, or slave. Including Risuka.

Once free, Hakaze intends to put a stop to the revival of the "Tree of Exodus" and save the world from eventual ruin. Believing that Hakaze will get in the way of his resurrection plans, Samon Kusaribe, Hakaze's former aide, had orchestrated her banishment and also removed her ability to use magic on the island.

In a desperate attempt to save the world from the effects of the "Trees of Exodus and Genesis," Mahiro and Yoshino inch closer to the truth behind Aika's death. The two find that there might be more to her murder than they initially thought as the world around them falls into chaos.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Due to the efforts of a sinister phantom menace, a recent chain of events threatens to plunge the galaxy into turmoil. The Trade Federation, interested only in the pursuit of greed, has blockaded the Republic planet Naboo, ostensibly in protest of the Galactic Republic's high taxation on trade routes. In response, the supreme chancellor of the Republic secretly dispatches two Jedi knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, to negotiate with the Federation as ambassadors. However, the negotiations are cut short when the Federation ambushes the Jedi and invades Naboo.

Surviving the attack and escaping to Naboo, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan rescue its captive monarch, Padmé Amidala. Aiming to bring her to the Republic to plead for help, the Jedi flee with her from Naboo. However, when their ship is damaged in their escape, they're forced to land on the outlying desert planet of Tatooine. Private Detective Hiroshi Inaba is an artificially-created being, formed by splicing the genes of both a human and a wolf, who gains information by tasting and examining people's hair, and pretty much has a hair fetish. He can transform into a more wolf-like form, and also gain special powers and perform different attacks depending on the type or color of hair he eats. Formerly employed by the police and partnered with an officer, he now runs his own private detective agency with the help of his sadistic, cross-dressing secretary Yuuta (often mistaken for a girl), and Kei (a "relatively" normal teenager working part-time at the office.

Ogino, the officer formerly partnered with Hiroshi, also often helps out with cases. His arch-enemy is Don Valentino, an evil mastermind goat with a taste (literally) for money, and a variety of messed up but extremely devoted henchman, including gentleman samurai Laurence, who always wears a bag over his head. Most chapters are individual stories revolving around Hiroshi and his friends trying to arrest the Don, always failing miserably.

Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion follows the story of Weed and Koyuki's puppies: Orion, Bellatrix, Rigel, and Sirius.

The people have demanded change; Criterion boxes were created for the purpose of the people to leave their complaints in it. The result of this were two changes: the first being the creation of "Koishigawa Youjoujo" for the people, the second being an inner-city magistrate office, known as the Mushibugyou.

Tsukishima Jinbee is a warrior who aims to be best, under the belief that a weak warrior isn't a warrior at all. He was scouted out by a representative to join the Mushibugyou and told to go to Edo with the instructions that he'd know what to do once he got there. Shortly after arriving at Edo, he hears a scream and goes to check it out... to find a giant spider-like creature devouring some citizens of Edo. Being a warrior, there's no way he could stand this...
