Spy x Family's Anya earned her first Stella Star by nearly drowning when she saved a little boy, but luckily fans don't have to go that far to wear a Stella of their own.
The designer hat brand CA4LA (pronounced "Kashira") will be reselling a collaboration item with the anime, specifically the beret that Anya wears to school. The brand reproduced the beret with great attention to detail with yellow-gold piping and stitching. Inlaid inside the beret is satin material with a pattern of CA4LA and Eden Academy logos. Just so Anya doesn't lose her hat in the mix with other students, the beret has Anya's full name embroidered in it. Pinned to the front of the hat is a little gold Stella star.
Although Anya's beret is fit for a child in the anime, the CA4LA's version is available in both child and adult sizes. While the hat isn't available for purchase at the store itself, visitors can view a sample display at the CA4LA Lumine EST Shinjuku store from Oct. 24 to Oct. 31. Fans can make reservations for the beret at the online site Shopro for 18,700 yen.
CA4LA Loves Anime Collaborations
In addition to Anya’s beret, CA4LA sold Loid’s trilby hat, which he often wears when going out, whether for family outings or missions for WISE. Similarly, Loid's hat had a lot of finer details, such as the button with the WISE logo on it. At the time, Loid's trilby was selling at 28,050 yen. This isn't the first time CA4LA has collaborated with an anime series -- the brand also worked with Chibi Maruko-chan and Madoka Magica.
Tatsuya Endo's best-selling manga Spy x Family received an anime adaptation. Helmed by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, and directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Hunter x Hunter and Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn), Spy x Family runs a split-cour format. The first cour aired in April and follows the ups and downs of the Forger family. The story goes through the challenges and adventures that each of them face such as Loid trying to hide his numerous spy missions from his family, Yor making sure her hands are blood-free when she returns from her assassinations and Anya trying her best to keep her parents' secrets secret while hiding her telepathy from them. The second cour is currently airing on Crunchyroll.
Reservations run from Oct. 17 to Nov. 15, and those who have reserved the beret can expect to become Starlight Anya in late February 2023, when the store ships it.
