One Piece Day 2023 is approaching, and a new trailer reveals what the festivities will include.

The video, which was posted on the franchise's official YouTube page, indicates that the hybrid event will take place on July 21 and 22; while tickets are free, they can only be obtained through a lottery system. The first day will include a showing of the most recent film in the franchise, One Piece Film: Red, while the second day will include stage events with cast members, exhibitions, and merchandising sales. Furthermore, they will make a special surprise announcement on One Piece Day.

One Piece's Spectacular Collectible Treasures

Several new collectibles are now available for individuals who will be unable to attend the event, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan, and will be broadcast live on YouTube. Megahouse, for example, just debuted a figurine of the flamboyant pirate Bentham the Wild (aka Mr. 2 Bon Clay). The piece, which costs $296, depicts the current leader of Newkama Land in his renowned ballet-inspired attire, complete with a frightening sneer.

Furthermore, Jimei Palace has unveiled a magnificent and costly statue of the Snake Princess, Boa Hancock. The figurine not only depicts the Pirate Empress in all her powerful and beautiful glory, but it also depicts her loyal pet snake Salome and makes obvious allusion to her Mero Mero no Mi Paramecia-type Devil Fruit. It is extremely expensive, costing $886.

Fans have more to be excited about than just the upcoming One Piece Day event or new merchandise; most notably, series creator Eiirchiro Oda has confirmed that the story has entered its final stage, meaning we will soon have an answer for what the titular treasure actually is. The mangaka already debunked a major fan theory that asserted that the One Piece would be the friendship and bonds protagonist Monkey D. Luffy made during his journey. "One Piece is not a 'bond of Straw Hats,'" Oda explained. "I hate that kind of thing."

Alongside the specifics of its main treasure, many other mysteries still remain unsolved within One Piece's narrative and a myriad of new theories have saturated the fandom. In particular, Red-Haired Shanks, the pirate who gave Luffy his signature straw hat, and his loyalties have been the focus of much speculation after the release of Chapter 1086, "The Five Elders." A shot of a silhouetted group has some manga readers questioning if Shank has ties to the tyrannical Celestial Dragons.

One Piece now is available on Mangamonster for free without ads interruption.
