Uncle from Another World anime released a preview trailer and images for episode 4 along with the title and synopsis. The episode is scheduled for a July 27 release. The fourth episode is titled “Thank You for Being Here for Me and Helping Me in The Difficult Time.” The synopsis describes the next episode as:
Fujimiya has a hard time letting Takafumi notice that she has feelings for him. In the circumstances, an event happens to her where Uncle casts freezing magic on her, which makes her have to take a shower, and Takafumi happens to see her getting dressed. Uncle’s consideration leads to a situation where they are alone in the room. “I’ll take the responsibility for having seen you changing clothes…” Takafumi’s words make Fujimiya’s heart beat faster. It looked as if it was going to get them a lot closer, but his action was significantly far from her expectations.
The newly released images show Uncle, his nephew Takafumi, Takafumi’s childhood friend Fujimiya, and the elf in another world. The episode seems to animate scenes from chapters 11 and 12, which the manga’s second volume compiles.
“It looks like you’re stronger than I thought, orc-faced.” The elf in another world brings up a topic about Uncle’s strength at the start of the preview trailer for episode 4. “Hm? Am I? I believe you have quite a good skill, too.” Uncle responds with his opinion about her strength. She doesn’t, however, accept it literally and thinks of it as flattery rather than a compliment. And then she continues to ask where he has gained experience in battles. “Experience… I bet it’s Alien Soldier.” The skillful man begins making an eloquent and passionate talk about his history, which confuses the woman in another world: “I’ve got enough. I hate to admit it, but you’ve gone through much more dire situations.” The Tsundere person calls the title of the fourth episode and concludes the preview trailer by saying she can’t stand “the orc-brained“.

KADOKAWA has been publishing Hotondoshindeiru’s Uncle from Another World manga and the newest volume, Volume 7 was released in February 2022. Yen Press, the official licenser for English releases, describes the plot of Volume 1 as:
Seventeen years ago, Takafumi’s uncle fell into a coma, but now he’s back like a man risen from his grave. Soon, Takafumi discovers two bizarre things: His uncle treasures video games above all else, and, while comatose, he was actually transported to another world as some heroic guardian! Now, not only does Takafumi have to room with an uncle who is literally magical, he also has to catch the guy up on two decades of history—smartphones, high-speed internet, modern anime tropes…and the traumatic outcome of the ’90s console war!
