The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious episode 2 preview images have been released. The new episode will air on July 31 at 2:00 AM JST, and it seems like we will be seeing more of Yuuri and Lilith’s interaction, following the meeting in the first episode.

In the upcoming episode, Yuuri will be trying to get used to living with Lilith. However, his suspicions are still present, so he is observing Lilith’s actions closely.

As Lilith is giving Yuuri brand new clothes and anything he wants, he tries to spy on her after he sees her walking out of the house in a restless mood. However, he finds out that Lilith just went outside to play with a kitten.

There’s something really strange about the maid I just hired! No normal person could be so beautiful, or cook such amazingly delicious food, or know exactly what I want before I even ask. She must be using magic—right, a spell is the only thing that can explain why my chest feels so tight whenever I look at her. I swear, I’m going to get to the bottom of what makes this maid so…mysterious!

Studios Silver Link and Blade are animating the series, with Misuzu Hoshino as the director. Mirai Minato, who is the chief director, is also writing the scripts. The opening theme is titled “I Don’t Like It!” performed by J-pop idol group ≠ME, while the ending theme is titled “Two in the Secret Garden” by Yui Horie. The anime is based on the manga series by Wakame Konbu, which began serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine in January 2020.
