Suddenly she gets a call from the College, a mutual aid group for mages, inviting her. A secret society of mages dwells underneath the British Library. An anime called The Ancient Magus' Bride was adapted from a Kore Yamazaki manga. With 24 episodes, WIT Studio animated the first season of the show in 2017. The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star, a three-episode OVA series, came before the season. The OAD series The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm was animated by Studio Kafka in 2021. There will be 12 episodes in the second season.
