From heroes to villains, The Powerpuff Girls series offers what are undoubtedly some of the most interesting and captivating cartoon characters from our childhood. This list will rank the strongest characters, taking into account their powers and personalities (because what is power without application) and just how much damage they’ve been shown to do in the series.
10 The Powerpuff Girls
Strengths: Super Speed, Super Strength, Host of Other Abilities
The titular trio is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with, as many of the series’ villains can attest to. The Powerpuff Girls put the power in their name as each possesses unique skills in addition to their shared powers (which are undoubtedly vast) that make them beyond formidable.
They have super speed, super strength, durability, endurance, the ability to fly, use energy beams, laser eyes, and more. Additionally, they are virtually indestructible (even though their foes vow to destroy them in almost every other episode), and the Powerpuff Girls have the power to remain undefeated in the long run. Plus, they’re only 5; imagine when they become older.
9 HIM
Strengths: Reality Warping, Mind Control, Transformation
The iconic flamboyant red lobster, which many fans love to cosplay, is undoubtedly one of the most powerful characters in The Powerpuff Girls series. His Infernal Majesty, aka HIM, is a fearsome character that possesses a host of abilities such as mind control, transformation, telekinesis, resurrection, reality warping, possession, and more.
In addition to his powers, HIM possesses a high intellect, which he uses to manipulate others, including the Powerpuff Girls. He truly earned the title of His Infernal Majesty as he demonstrated the powers and skills of damned royalty.
8 The Rowdyruff Boys
Strengths: Super speed, Strength, Durability
The Powerpuff Girls’ male counterparts are the Rowdyruff Boys. Created by Mojo Jojo, these little boys are just as tough and formidable as our titular trio. They become even stronger after being resurrected by HIM and losing their weakness to cooties, which the girls used to defeat them the first time.
While they may not have the same intellect and, some would say, mental fortitude that the girls have, the RRB are nothing to scoff at. They have the same powers, in addition to a few of their own, such as the ability to increase in size whenever they’re kissed by the girls, create a hypersonic wave, and more. That’s why they’re among the best villains in The Powerpuff Girls.
7 Bubbles
Strengths: Super Speed, Sonic Scream, Zoolingualism
The most relatable Powerpuff Girl, with her blond pigtails, love for animals, and sweet demeanor, is arguably the most powerful of the trio. Sometimes, a sweet exterior hides more power than one can comprehend, and it’s no different with Bubbles.

Any true lover of the series will remember season 1, episode 17, titled “‘Bubblevicious,” where Bubbles goes on a rampage throughout Townsville, punishing people for even the pettiest crimes and taking down a host of monsters all on her own. She has long been regarded as the most powerful Powerpuff Girl since then and onward, and it’s a title that she has rightfully earned.
6 Blisstina Utonium
Strengths: Durability, Telekinesis, Energy Blasts
Blisstina was the first “perfect little girl” created by Professor Utonium 8 years before the Powerpuff Girls were created. She was made using Chemical W instead of Chemical X. This makes her powers a bit more unstable as they get out of control when she experiences emotional outbursts.
That being said, Blisstina is still a Powerpuff Girl, and she’s exceptionally strong. She possesses the same durability, strength, speed, and a few other abilities as the titular trio. Additionally, she has a few of her own, such as telekinesis and the ability to fuse with other entities.
5 Mojo Jojo
Strengths: High Intellect and Weapon Creation
The creator of the Rowdyruff Boys and the PPG’s arch nemesis, Mojo Jojo, is one smart monkey. And that’s an understatement. With an oversized brain, Mojo is exceptionally intelligent, with the ability to create a vast array of high-tech weapons and tools to achieve his plans.
Additionally, this intellect makes him cunning and allows him to manipulate not just the Powerpuff Girls but others as well. While his shining feat is undoubtedly his intellect, Mojo Jojo has demonstrated physical feats throughout the series as well, such as when he entered his rage mode or used a brain blast. Unfortunately, Mojo isn’t as menacing in the anime Powerpuff Girls Z. It’s one of the many differences between the Powerpuff Girls series and anime.
4 Princess Morbucks
Strengths: Daddy’s Money
Money is power, and no PPG character embodies that more than Princess Morbucks. While many fans may find her annoying and spoiled, no one can deny that her main power – daddy’s money, grants her the ability to do A LOT. An example of this is when we were introduced to Princess in season 2, episode 1, “Stuck Up, Up, and Away,” and she got a suit to become a Powerpuff Girl.

She looked like she had the upper hand over Bubbles and Buttercup but was eventually taken down by Blossom with the help of the other Powerpuff Girls. That being said, Princess Morbucks is undoubtedly powerful, and the truth is, she would be in the real world, too.
3 Mr. Mime/Rainbow The Clown
Strengths: Sound & Light Manipulation
Mr. Mime is the evil alter ego of Rainbow the Clown. He was featured in season 1, episode 22, “Mime for a Change,” which was voted one of the best Powerpuff Girls episodes. He got his powers when a truck with bleach hit him and turned him black and white. He has the ability to erase the colors from anything (living or otherwise) with a simple touch.
In addition to this, he can render anything he touches mute. This was demonstrated when he touched the bleach truck driver, mute and colorless when he touched him. While his powers aren’t physically destructive, his ability to rid one of their color and sound is undeniable and a detriment to all the happy-go-lucky people of Townsville.
2 Sedusa
Strengths: Hair Manipulation, Seduction, Disguise
The Powerpuff Girls’ resident seductress, mistress of disguise, and resident hair queen, Sedusa, is one many wouldn’t consider necessarily powerful, but that’s furthest from the truth.
While her physical powers only really lie in her hair, her ability to manipulate and seduce men (such as Professor Utonium) and don the disguises of any woman she wants (such as Ms. Bellum) gives her the ability to extend her reach further than her hair alone could get her. All of this, with her gorgon-like hair, makes Sedusa a one-of-a-kind character and villain in the PPG universe.
Her Powerpuff Girls Z counterpart isn’t as powerful, but they maintain her ability to control her hair like tentacles and disguise herself.
1 Fuzzy Lumpkins
Strengths: Rage Mode
While the name Fuzzy Lumpkins inspires more laughter than fear, the character is nothing to laugh at, or else he might enter Rage Mode.
Fuzzy Lumpkins is one of the girls’ oldest villains and a hillbilly living outside of Townsville. He uses a few weapons, such as an oversized shotgun, Boomstick, or his Banjo. But his rage mode is undoubtedly the most fearsome weapon, as he turns big, red, and muscular and can do some serious damage. This is seen in season 1, episode 8, “Fuzzy Logic,” for the first time when Fuzzy goes on a rampage after a squirrel trespasses on his property.
