The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 8 preview video was released on the official KADOKAWAAnime Youtube channel on Monday—preview images were also released on the official site. Now that we’ve been introduced to Kizuna the Hunting Hero last week, we’re in full swing with the New World Arc!

It looks like this week’s episode is set to be another one fans can kick their feet up to and enjoy. Naofumi and company will go back to their trading ways as they begin to explore Kizuna’s world, which, given the architectural style, is possibly another world version of Japan. It also adds to the fact that Kizuna was also surprised that Naofumi knew Japanese in last week’s episode. But Raphtalia is still her smaller self and the ending of the preview leaves fans with the feeling that a serious problem will occur at some point, especially seeing as how Raphtalia was crying. All in all, it looks like we’re in for another solid episode. But the question still remains—where is Filo?
Kim min-sun (Hunter x Hunter, 2011) will be making her series directing debut this week. Hideaki Uehara (Space Brothers) will also be making his series debut as he’ll be handling the storyboard. Kota Sera (episodes 2, 4, 6, 7) and Masahiro Suwa (episodes 3, 7) will both return as the chief animation directors this week. Keigo Koyanagi will remain the scriptwriter.
