The 11 Supernovas are powerful pirates who fans were first introduced to in the pre-timeskip of One Piece. On the island of Sabaody Archipelago, Oda created these monstrously powerful pirates just to make the arc more interesting, because according to his editors, the arc was somehow lacking. As a result, Oda decided to give birth to the supernovas in a very short amount of time, which is nothing short of extraordinary.

Ever since then, the 11 Supernovas have gone on to become incredibly important pirates in the One Piece world, all of which have, more or less, made a mark in the New World. Of course, some members of the 11 Supernovas are far more important than others and have established a lasting legacy already, while still gunning for more.

The Eleven Supernovas

When one looks at the group of the 11 Supernovas, they are a very diverse bunch of pirates. They were first introduced to the fans on Sabaody Archipelago, where the fact that these 11 pirates arrived with bounties of 100 million berries or more was made known. As such, those who completed the first half of the journey through the Grand Line and received a bounty of 100 million or more were considered to be among the 11 Supernovas. It was made quite clear in the story that this was unprecedented. Usually, rookie pirates do not acquire such high bounties while traversing through the first half of the Grand Line in such a short amount of time. However, the 11 Supernovas did make it possible.

Starting with the members of the Straw Hat Pirates, the 11 Supernovas consist of two powerful members, and of course, those are Luffy and Zoro. These are two members that fans were always very well familiar with, and understandably so. However, the members who were new to the fans were the more intriguing ones. From the North Blue, fans were introduced to quite a few members of the 11 Supernovas. Basil Hawkins was a noteworthy pirate, also known as the Magician. His ability clearly linked to tarot cards and fortune telling, which made him very interesting. At the same time, X Drake, who possessed the ability to transform into an allosaurus and, at the same time, was revealed to be a former marine, was also from the North Blue. Furthermore, Trafalgar Law, known as the Surgeon of Death, was revealed to be a member of the 11 Supernovas. Law was said to have committed all sorts of brutalities on his journey through the Grand Line and that was certainly very intriguing for the fans to see.

Moving on to the West Blue, fans knew that Capone Gang Bege was from there and his mafia aesthetic made it quite clear for the fans that he was from a similar powerful family. Meanwhile, both Kid and Killer were revealed to be powerful pirates from the South Blue. Kid was the captain of the Kid Pirates and Killer was his right-hand man. Apart from Zoro, Killer was the only non-captain member to be revealed as a part of the 11 Supernovas. Bonney, a very skillful pirate, was also revealed to be from the South Blue, and her age-related powers were fearsome right from the get-go. Then, of course, there were those who stem from the Grand Line itself. Apoo is a member whom fans know to be from the Grand Line, while Urouge is an interesting pirate who hails from a Sky Island, called Birka.

Who Is The Strongest Supernova?

When one looks at the strongest supernovas, it is clear for the fans to see that the one who rules them all is, of course, Luffy. Luffy has pulled ahead of everyone else by leaps and bounds and he is truly in a league of his own. He is one of the strongest individuals in the entire series and rightly so, given he’s the protagonist of the story.

At the moment, Luffy is one of the Emperors of the Sea. He was the one who stood in the path of Kaido and defeated him in Wano, claiming his position for himself. Luffy has acquired a 3 billion berry bounty, which has made him an infamous pirate across the entire world and a powerful Yonko who not many can contend with.

Having awakened his powers and turning the world upside down, Luffy has reached an unprecedented level of strength. In fact, it would be unfair to compare him with any other member of the 11 Supernovas as they simply do not match up to him in any way. Not only does Luffy possess incredible mastery of his Devil Fruit, which he has now awakened, but he also has access to the advanced grade of every single Haki type, which makes him truly special as a pirate.

The Second Strongest Supernova In One Piece

When one thinks of the strongest members of the 11 Supernovas, three individuals in particular come to mind. These include Roronoa Zoro, Trafalgar Law, and of course, Eustass Captain Kid. These are all powerful individuals who achieve greatness in Wano. Zoro has a bounty of 1.111 billion berries, while both Kid and Law have a bounty of 3 billion berries each. It is quite hard for fans to pick just one character from within them, however, the most beloved character, Zoro, would likely not be at the top. This is simply down to the fact that he is new to his King of Hell form and his stamina is not good enough to maintain this power in an extended fight. In the Egghead Island arc, fans were given a proper demonstration of this, when he took on Lucci in combat and was held up by him for a considerable period of time.

Meanwhile, both Kid and Law were given much stronger opponents and even if they lost, the matchup made it quite clear as to where they stood. Looking at these three individuals, it is clear that the strongest of them all is Trafalgar Law. Law has the power of the Ope Ope no Mi, and, with its awakening, he can achieve great things in combat. Law can use the powers of his ROOMs remotely, which is what makes him truly deadly. Even against Big Mom, he was the one doing the heavy lifting and the Yonko of the Sea feared her greatly. He broke her bones from the inside and her shockwaves were such that Big Mom was terrified of facing this mighty power.

Even in the battle against Blackbeard, Law was somewhat impressive and could potentially have even killed him, had Van Augur not helped Blackbeard out. Law was doomed from the beginning because his crew was much weaker than what he was faced with and, as a result, he lost the battle. Of course, in terms of strength, Law is still much weaker than Blackbeard, however, when compared to his fellow Supernova compatriots, he is much smarter and, of course, his abilities are much more dangerous.

With the power to use his ROOMs remotely, Law simply cannot be taken lightly. He can do things such as swap around people, change personalities, deal internal damage that cannot be defended against, and of course, potentially even kill in one shot. Law is a monster in combat and his bounty of 3 billion berries certainly goes to show for it. Added to that is his powerful Haki. While he does not have access to Conqueror’s Haki just yet, Law’s Armament Haki is great enough to nullify some Devil Fruit powers, which is what makes him even more dangerous.
