One Piece volume 107 has finally been released and that only means that SBS volume 107 is out as well. As always, Oda has revealed quite a lot of interesting details in this volume’s SBS, all the while adding some jokes for his fans, which he always does.

9 Admirals’s Jobs
One of the most bizarre things that order revealed in SBS volume 107 is the jobs that the Admirals would have if they were to live in the real world. According to Oda, the Admirals would be radio personalities, which is quite a funny choice for a career for people who are as intimidating as them.
This would mean things such as podcasts, among others, would be actively pursued by the Admirals if they were to live in the real world.
8 Oda’s Inspirations
Oda also revealed some inspirations that he took for his characters in One Piece volume 107. These characters are Jiron, who is a member of the Revolutionary Army working under Morley, the commander of the West Army, and satellite Pythagoras, who was recently introduced in the Egghead Arc on the island of the future.
Oda revealed that Jiron was inspired by Jiron Amos from Combat Mecha Xabungle, while Pythagoras was inspired by the TV show Ganbare RoboCon. Oda also mentioned that Buggy might’ve been inspired by a character known as “Barabaraman” from a show called Robot 8-Chan, which used to air a long time ago.
7 How Vegapunk Washes His Hair
Quite easily the most bizarre thing that Oda revealed in SBS volume 107 was how Vegapunk washes his head. Of course, this came after one of the fans asked Oda about how this monstrous head was being washed by Vegapunk before he chopped it off.
Oda simply revealed that he submerges himself in some sort of pool filled with a particular type of fish, called Scrubfish, that does the scrubbing for him. Naturally, now that he has shortened his head quite a lot, he doesn’t need to rely on this bizarre method.
6 Bonney’s Devil Fruit Name
Coming over to the most interesting stuff, Oda revealed the Devil Fruit power of Bonney in SBS volume 107.

This Devil Fruit was unnamed until now and, finally, fans have a name for it. Oda revealed the name of this Devil Fruit to be the Toshi Toshi no Mi, or simply the Age Age Fruit.
5 Hibari Backstory
Hibari, a lieutenant of the SWORD, was recently revealed to the fans in the Final Saga of One Piece. Fans found out about her backstory in SBS volume 107 as well.
Hibari was saved from a battlefield by Koby when she was younger, however, she ended up losing her toy bear. Koby went back to the battlefield, only to return with her bear, which made her fall in love with him. She named her bear Koby-Senpai.
4 Prince Grus Backstory
Prince Grus is another member of SWORD who was recently revealed in One Piece. According to Oda, he was a clumsy personality and also a very gloomy one when he was a kid.
He often bumped into things and hurt himself. To keep that from happening, his mom gave him a giant hat. This hat kept him from bumping into things and prevented him from getting hurt. Ever since then, he has continued to wear this hat.
3 Kujaku’s Sword
The name of Kujaku’s blade was revealed to be Beethoven in One Piece volume 107 SBS. The sword is just like a whip and it is made of steel so it can also cut into rocks and anything solid as well.
This sword is, of course, very dangerous and fans have seen it being used to great effect on the Pirate Island. Fans can hope that Kujaku gets more of a chance to shine in the future of the story.
2 Chinode The Reporter
Oda also revealed the name of another minor character in One Piece who was recently introduced. Upon the reintroduction of Vivi, there was a news reporter in the background who appeared to be smitten with her.
She mentioned having given her outfit to Princess Vivi, claiming to never wash it ever again after she wore it. Oda revealed her name to be Chinode in SBS volume 107.
1 Luffy’s Dream
Finally, One Piece volume 107 SBS revealed bits about who is currently aware of Luffy’s dream. When Oda was asked about Caribou being privy to such a secret, he confirmed that he did not quite catch it.
This means that the only people who are currently aware of Luffy’s dream are the Straw Hat Pirates, Shanks, Rayleigh, Sabo, and Yamato, who heard it from Ace.

One Piece is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. The series follows protagonist Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirate crew as they explore the Grand Line to find the King of the Pirates’ ultimate treasure, the One Piece, in order to become the next king. The manga’s popularity helped it spin off into a larger media franchise, including an anime with more than 1,000 episodes.
