Sasuke Uchiha is one of the main protagonists of Naruto. He has been involved in almost all the crucial battles in the series, and they have helped him become stronger. Due to his Sharingan, Sasuke was able to learn new jutsu and other moves quickly.
This gave him a massive advantage against most opponents. As the story progressed, Sasuke was pitted against better foes, and some of them really tested his skills. In certain cases, the Uchiha required help from his teammates to take down his opponents.
8 Vs. Itachi Uchiha
Let Sasuke Win
For most of his life, Sasuke wanted nothing more than to kill Itachi and avenge his clan. He finally got the opportunity to do so in Naruto Shippuden. With his new abilities, Sasuke was convinced that he would get the better of his brother.
However, Sasuke got a harsh reality check during the fight. His strongest moves almost had no effect on Itachi. Even after using Kirin, Itachi was still standing. If his older brother wanted, he could have easily killed him and stolen his eyes. However, Itachi wanted Sasuke to become stronger and live. So, in this particular fight, Sasuke got help from Itachi himself.
7 Vs. Killer B
Had To Rely On Taka’s Help
After being riled up by Obito, Sasuke decided to help him out by doing his bidding. Sasuke went to look for Killer B, the jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails. The Uchiha was confident in his abilities, and he believed that it would be an easy victory, but he couldn’t have been more wrong.
Killer B absolutely demolished Sasuke in the fight, and the latter had no answer to his attacks. Without the help of Taka, Sasuke would definitely have died at the hands of Killer B.
6 Vs. Danzo
Needed Obito To Rescue Him
In his quest for revenge, Sasuke decided to target the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. At the time, Danzo was in charge of the village, and he had gone to participate in the Five Kage Summit. Sasuke wasted no time in pursuing Danzo and confronting him.
What should have been an easy job turned out to be rather tough, as Danzo was well-equipped to deal with Sasuke. Danzo had an arm full of Sharingan, and he used it to cast Izanagi. He used the move so many times that Sasuke had to wait for a long time to land a decisive blow. Before dying, Danzo attempted to seal Sasuke with his sealing technique, but Obito saved the young Uchiha.
5 Vs. Obito Uchiha
Had Help From The Entire Alliance
Obito Uchiha used the power of the nine tailed beasts to summon the Ten-Tails and ultimately became its jinchuriki. This bolstered Obito’s strength significantly, and the entire Shinobi Alliance had no answer to his attacks.
Sasuke was in the same boat, and he required some help from Naruto to find out Obito’s weakness. Once his weak point was exposed, the heroes used a plethora of attacks to defeat and separate him from the Ten-Tails.
4 Vs. Madara Uchiha
Needed Hagoromo’s Powers And Naruto’s Support
Madara Uchiha was reanimated by Kabuto in the Fourth Great Ninja War. This gave the legendary ninja the opportunity to achieve his goal. After Madara had revived himself successfully, he was attacked by both Naruto and Sasuke.
However, neither of them could scratch him. In fact, Sasuke was stabbed right through the chest by Madara. The young Uchiha’s story would have ended then and there if not for Karin. After being saved by Karin, Sasuke received Six Paths power from Hagoromo, which allowed him to damage Madara.
3 Vs. Isshiki Otsutsuki
Naruto Had To Bail Out Sasuke
In Boruto, Sasuke has to fight Isshiki Otsutsuki, who is arguably the strongest Otsutsuki in the series. Isshiki was armed with Daikokuten and Sukonahikona, two powerful abilities that made him nigh impossible to beat even for a talented ninja like Sasuke.
For the majority of the fight, Isshiki was toying with Sasuke. The Uchiha used every trick in the book to try to bring down Isshiki, but it was to no avail. Fortunately, Naruto had an ace up his sleeve– the Baryon Mode with which he beat Isshiki.
2 Vs. Momoshiki Otsutsuki
Received Support From Naruto And Boruto
Momoshiki Otsutsuki came to earth with the purpose of finding the Chakra Fruit. However, he was disappointed to learn that Kaguya had eaten it. Momoshiki refused to go back empty-handed, so he decided to steal the Nine-Tails from Naruto. Sasuke and the Five Kage were able to track him down and free Naruto.
Sensing a loss, Momoshiki consumed Kinshiki. This increased his power and allowed him to overwhelm Naruto and Sasuke momentarily. However, the two ninjas pushed him back and nearly succeeded in beating him.
1 Vs. Kaguya Otsutsuki
Sasuke Needed Help From Entire Team 7
Kaguya Otsutsuki was revived by Black Zetsu at the cost of Madara’s life. She was extremely powerful, and she made all the villains before her seem weak and inferior. Kaguya had access to multiple Kekkei Mora techniques, most of which could not be countered.
As the jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails, she was immune to ninjutsu. What’s more, Kaguya was capable of creating a massive Truth Seeking Ball that could obliterate an entire dimension. Sasuke would never have managed to beat her on his own. Luckily, he had the support of Naruto, Obito, Kakashi, and Sakura.
