My Hero Academia started serializing in the Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. The chapters of the manga have been compiled into 39 volumes so far. However, Midoriya’s dreams take a hit when he finds out that he is without a Quirk. As he grows older, he meets All Might in a chance encounter. The hero reassures Midoriya that there is still hope for him. This begins a long and exciting adventure for Midoriya.
My Hero Academia has inspired many spinoffs, with Vigilantes being the most popular. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes was published biweekly in 2016, and it came to an end in 2022. So far, the manga has sold over 80 million copies, and the number is likely to increase in the upcoming years due to the series being in its final phase.
My Hero Academia received its first anime adaptation in April 2016. The second and third seasons were released in April 2017 and April 2018. The fourth season started in October 2019, and the fifth premiered in March 2021. The sixth season of My Hero Academia aired in October 2022.
