Bakugo’s quirk is on a whole other level after his awakening in My Hero Academia.
These chapters have been nothing short of incredible for the fans to witness and they have certainly made the finale of this arc more than just a dilemma to be solved with a fight. In the past chapter, fans got to see the birth of All For One and how he came into power. Now, fans finally got to see how he grew stronger, how he opposed Kudo and, of course, how he fought against every single vestige of the One For All, which led him to this point. My Hero Academia chapter 408 was absolutely sensational and certainly one of the very best in the entire story.
Yoichi’s Death
My Hero Academia chapter 408 began with a shocking panel of All For One killing his own brother. Fans know that he killed his own brother, however, the exact circumstances that surrounded this death were not revealed in the story. My Hero Academia chapter 408 saw to it that fans find out how exactly he made this possible and what methods he used to achieve this. In a very gruesome manner, All For One crushed his own brother and dismembered his body.
Yoichi’s hand was kept by him as he contemplated his life and his decision to kill his brother, who had rejected everything that he offered to him and tried to create his own destiny. According to All For One, his brother abandoned him, and given that he considers everything to exist for his own sake, All For One had no choice but to kill him after he started rebelling. However, All For One certainly felt that something was off. He realized that his brother had another quirk, however, this quirk was so weak due to Yoichi himself being weak when born that it wasn’t even detected by All For One’s own power that allows him to steal and give quirks freely. That is precisely why All For One ended up giving him power, with the goal of making him submit, however, when started running away, All For One had absolutely no other choice but to kill him.
Kudo Gets The One For All
My Hero Academia chapter 408 also showcased Kudo, who was now the user of the One For All. It appears that the transfer from Yoichi to Kudo was one that he was not aware of himself. Yoichi transferred his powers before he ended up dying, however, Kudo could only feel his presence inside later on, meaning that he did not willingly take this power in. Rather, it was transferred to him by Yoichi as a lost resort. Around this time, All For One also found out that the power had now been transferred to someone else. In his words, the power was stolen from him and, given that he believes that all power belongs to him, he left on a mission to retrieve this power and this started a cycle of All For One going after every single vestige of One For All so as to get his hands on this incredible power.

These fights are the peak of My Hero Academia’s Final War Saga.
While Kudo himself had one quirk factor at first, he received a second one from Yoichi and these two would then go on to combine and become the One For All. Fans know the One For All to be one of the strongest quirks to have ever existed and this quirk gets stronger when it is passed down. Essentially, the power of this Quirk increases each time it is passed on, and it was certainly greater under Kudo than it was under Yoichi. Both Kudo and All For One realized at the same time that even though Yoichi is dead, his will still lives on.
All For One Kills The Vestiges
My Hero Academia chapter 408 gave fans a proper glimpse at All For One and his life as he continued to grow in terms of power. As All For One gained more abilities, he also started getting full of himself and believed that he was right in doing what he was doing. He set out on a mission to kill all the vestiges and fans got to see how Kudo died.
He was choked by All For One until his last breath, however, All For One then realized that Kudo had managed to surpass all his expectations. He had a contingency plan in place and he had transferred this quirk to Bruce, the third user of the One For All.
From Bruce, who was the third user of the power, this ability went to Hikage Shinomori, who was the fourth user of the One For All. When Hikage Shinomori was murdered, the power was passed on to Daigoro Banjo, whom fans knew from being the first vestige to pass on his power to Deku. Daigoro’s murder led to this power being passed on to En, who, when murdered by being split in half, used the last bit of his strength to give his hairs to Nana, who then ended up consuming this power. Nana became the seventh user of the One For All and she certainly lived with incredible resolve, eventually passing on her quirk to the quirkless Yagi Toshinori.
All Might became the first One For All vestige to defeat All For One and fans finally got to see how he blew half of his face off as well. A glimpse of their previous fight was given to the fans and it was in this fight that All Might received a gruesome injury to his torso, while All For One lost his face and the fight itself.
All For One’s Last Gamble
The last section of My Hero Academia chapter 408 saw the flashback finally conclude and now, All For One versus Bakugo is all set to continue. This fight continued over the course of the last few pages of the chapter and All For One started thinking his strategy through. According to him, he does not have enough power to do the quirk transfer and, at the same time, take down Bakugo as well. However, for the very first time, he’s risking everything. All For One is now going all out and has unleashed the full power of his quirk, releasing every single ability that he possesses inside of him and launching it at Bakugo.
The goal is to take down everything in his vicinity and then force a quick transfer with Tomura when he gets to him. This is a very dangerous strategy, however, it just goes to show that he is desperate and that he is at the end of the rope. Yet, Bakugo certainly looks fearless right now and he does not wish to give All For One even an inch. Clearly, he is carrying the will of Kudo and he will be the one to end All For One for good.
