Highlights

  • Quirks like Anivoice and Pop Off offer crucial tactical support, aiding in surveillance and immobilization during hero missions.
  • Electrification and Earphone Jack, when used strategically, provide valuable offensive and defensive support capabilities in battles and rescues.
  • Quirks like Erasure, Zero Gravity, Creation, and Rewind play key roles in either nullifying opponents or creating vital objects for hero operations.

There is no ‘I’ in teamwork, which is why, when facing a tough opponent, the hero society has to put aside their differences and work together to emerge victorious and save the day from doom. However, in times like this, some quirks and their users shine the most because being supportive is their main strength or one of their strengths.

These quirks and the characters that possess them are very crucial in providing tactical support, and weapons, and ensuring that citizens are safe from harm and the villains are immobilized so that the bigger heroes can move in and subdue them.

8 Anivoice

Allows The User To Communicate With Animals

  • Known User: Koji Koda

In every part of the world, there are animals that see and experience things. Koda has the anivoice quirk that allows him to communicate with animals, and although this power may not seem like much, it is very helpful in surveillance, search, and rescue missions.

Things that humans cannot see due to distance, birds can, and Koda gives his fellow heroes some extra eyes when he beckons to birds to help him take a look at what is happening at a distance, and they come back to give him feedback, which he then relays to the others.

7 Pop Off

Allows The User To Produce And Pluck Sticky Balls

images/news/2024/5/8/my-hero-academia-best-support-quirks_2.jpg

  • Known User: Minoru Mineta

Mineta might not seem like much, and he is often unserious, but every now and then, he shows he has what it takes to be a hero. His pop-off quirk might not be the best compared to other heroes’ quirks, but it gets the job done by limiting his opponent, and while limited, another hero can swoop in to deliver the finishing blow, or the authorities come to take the villain away.

Another thing to note is that Mineta’s pop-off balls can be used on the trampoline, aiding mobility for himself and other heroes. It can also act as a way to cushion falls and reduce the impact of a dangerous fall.

6 Electrification

Allows The User To Emit Electricity

images/news/2024/5/8/my-hero-academia-best-support-quirks_3.jpg

  • Known User: Denki Kaminari

Kaminari might not be the brightest student, but his quirk gives him the ability to emit electricity. This electricity-based quirk is rare but very effective, as it can electrocute anyone who comes into contact with it. Most times, there are bad things to a good thing, and Kaminari is not shielded from the effect of his quirk. Kaminari has to be careful when emitting electricity because if he does too much, he can fry his brain and make himself temporarily dumb and unable to use his quirk.

However, his quirk is a good support for other quirks, like Momo’s creation quirk. Depending on the situation, his electricity can be amplified by any metal that Momo creates. Kaminari’s quirk can also be very supportive during rescue or capture missions. Rescue because he can emit electricity and restore power supply so that victims can escape, and capture because he can quickly render his opponents useless by electrocuting them, while the other heroes can finish the job. Kaminari has great potential, either alone or as a support.

5 Earphone Jack

Allows The User to Elongate Their Earlobes And Plug Them Into Surfaces And Objects

images/news/2024/5/8/my-hero-academia-best-support-quirks_4.jpg

  • Known User: Kyoka Jiro

Information is powerful, especially during a battle, and Kyoka has earlobes that she can extend and attach to objects or surfaces to hear sounds and know what is happening at a distance. Not only can she listen, but she can also amplify and manipulate sounds. Amplify in the sense that if she connects to a speaker, she can create loud noises that can distract and disorganize her opponents. She can manipulate sounds by channeling the sound of her heartbeat to create powerful waves that can cause ground-shattering damage.

The earphone jack is very supportive and might even have been more supportive than offensive. The quirk helps to detect noises and vibrations, allowing Kyoka to monitor situations and the location of their opponents. In rescue missions, she can pick up a faint cry for help and render assistance to the injured citizens as quickly as possible.

4 Erasure

Causes The Quirk Of Whoever The User Looks At To Temporarily Cease

images/news/2024/5/8/my-hero-academia-best-support-quirks_5.jpg

  • Known User: Shota Aizawa

Aizawa is the user of the erasure, and it allows him to nullify the quirks of anyone he looks at. This quirk is highly supportive, as Aizawa cannot really do much when he activates his quirk. He has to maintain a view of the individual in his view because if he moves, his quirk deactivates, and the individual regains usage of their quirk.

In battle, fans mostly see Aizawa take on a supportive role as he nullifies the quirk of an opponent while another hero sweeps in to defeat the opponent or launch an attack at the quirk-less villain.

3 Zero Gravity

Allows Whatever The User Touches To Be Weightless and Float

images/news/2024/5/8/my-hero-academia-best-support-quirks_6.jpg

  • Known User: Ochaco Uraraka

Uraraka’s quirk is quite versatile, as it allows her to make anything she touches weightless. She controls when the object lands by just touching her fingertips together. Her quirk is very supportive in rescue operations, as she can make debris float, making way for other heroes to access injured citizens.

In battle, she can make her fellow heroes float, enhancing their mobility and saving them from danger, and she does this for her opponents too, causing them to float and making them feel nauseous due to the weird feeling. Uraraka uses her quirk to support Froppy’s quirk. Since Froppy has a long tongue, Uraraka uses her zero gravity to make debris float, while Froppy uses her long and strong tongue to grab the debris and launch it at their enemies or out of the way for rescue missions.

2 Creation

Allows The User To Create Non-Living Objects

images/news/2024/5/8/my-hero-academia-best-support-quirks_7.jpg

  • Known User: Momo Yaoyorozu

Momo has the ability to create non-living things from her body, as long as she understands the structure of the object. Momo constantly stays informed about the structure of objects, which makes her options endless as she can create shields, guns, and medical and non-medical supplies. As long as she has enough lipids in her body, she can create both big and small objects.

In combat, rescue, and even strategic situations, Momo can always lend a helping hand by creating objects or weapons that the other heroes might need or that are crucial for the operation.

1 Rewind

Reverses A Living Thing To A Previous State

images/news/2024/5/8/my-hero-academia-best-support-quirks_8.jpg

  • Known User: Eri

Rewind is an extremely powerful quirk, and in the hands of someone with evil intentions, it is lethal. Fans see how Overhaul subjected Eri to physical and emotional pain and torment just so he could use her rewind quirk to create a quirk-destroying drug.

As much as the quirk is dangerous and can potentially erase an individual from existence, it is quite supportive as fans see how Midoriya used the quirk to rewind the life-threatening injuries that come with using One For All at its maximum level.
