Warner Bros. cartoon battler MultiVersus hasn’t shied away from adding characters from adult-oriented media to its roster of playable fighters, and one fan has unveiled their concept for an entire move set that could be incorporated for Breaking Bad main character Walter White. MultiVersus is built around the concept of an ever-expanding roster, and Walt seems to be one of the community’s top picks for a character slot.
MultiVersus’ diverse roster is made up of more than two dozen characters who work under the iconic WB shield emblem, from classic cartoon characters like Looney Toons‘ Marvin the Martian to more modern animated characters like Steven Universe and Adventure Time‘s Jake the Dog. Breaking Bad‘s tale of a terminally ill chemistry teacher turned drug kingpin out of desperation seems heavy compared to a lot of others on the roster, but that doesn’t disqualify him from inclusion.
Even with the wide variety of characters already available, fans seem eager for Breaking Bad‘s drug lord to get a spot on the roster, and MultiVersus Director Tony Huynh pushing for Walter White to be added isn’t doing anything to quell that passion in the fan base. With that in mind, one fan, known as CapChains on Twitter, has shared a thread of 16 different moves they could see Walt using in combat, along with tags and victory and defeat poses. These moves are all taken directly from scenes in Breaking Bad and include Walt rolling a barrel of money at opponents, using a bike lock to toss them to the ground, and even heaving a pizza at them to fling them into the air.
Walter White’s Potential MultiVersus Moves
Of course, Walt’s scientific background would come into play as well, and there are plenty of moves that focus less on blind rage and more on his brilliant and calculating mind. These moves, also taken directly from the show, would include Walt dropping a pipe bomb attached to a bell trigger, pulling opponents toward him with an industrial magnet, and creating a poisonous cloud of phosphene gas that would cause opponents trapped inside it to gradually lose health while also hindering their ability to dodge. While none of these attacks are directly related to drug manufacturing, the fan-made move set would have Walt shooting directly at others with a pistol, and though that may seem out of place in a game mainly populated by characters from children’s cartoons, MultiVersus includes characters like Rick and Morty, as well as slasher movie icon Jason Vorhees, so it’s clearly not backing away from adult-oriented content.
While Walt is in high demand among the MultiVersus community, his popularity isn’t limited to just that one fan base. Fans have shared their own creations that have placed the character into games ranging from Red Dead Redemption 2 to Bloodborne, and one player even created an Animal Crossing Walter White complete with a meth lab.
