It is presumed that the movie will take place on the first day that the monsters seen in A Quiet Place appeared and plunged the world into the post-apocalyptic landscape that it is in the time of the main franchise.

Return To Silent Hill

Silent Hill fans rejoice – there’s finally a new adaptation on the horizon! Return To Silent Hill will adapt the video game Silent Hill 2 while updating and modernizing the story. The plot will follow a man named James Sunderland who receives a letter inviting him to the town of Silent Hill in order to reunite with his true love Mary, who he’s been separated from. However, he comes to find out that the town is under the influence of an evil force, forcing him to question his own mental stability as he faces terrifying creatures and figures out his new reality.

The Watchers

This supernatural horror film is written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan, the daughter of famed director M. Night Shyamalan, in her feature film directorial debut. The Watchers follows a young woman named Mina who is stranded in a large remote forest in western Ireland. She manages to find shelter, but she also finds herself trapped with three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures in the night. Shyamalan seems to be following in her father’s footsteps in terms of directing unsettling movies, so it will be interesting to see how their styles differ.

Trap

Speaking of the Shyamalan family, M. Night Shyamalan is also set to release a new film in 2024, called Trap. Not much is known about the film right now, other than that it’s a psychological thriller set at a concert, which sounds scary enough on its own.
