Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun (aka Season 2) revealed preview images and a synopsis for the upcoming episode 10 which will air on Wednesday, September 7. The new episode is titled “All That You Get Gather” and we will be seeing the outcome of Faputa’s wishes, after she managed to come into the village.
The plot of the episode is described as:
Faputa, who was able to enter the village thanks to Reg, barges in, vowing revenge. As the village is destroyed, the sleeping Nanachi awakens.
Belaf releases Nanachi, entrusting them with his own worth and memories, but also warns that if the borderof the village is crossed “Mitty will disappear.” Nanachi must choose: leave Mitty again or go with Riko and Reg.

Kinema Citrus is animating the sequel to the anime adaptation of Akihito Tsukushi’s manga. Theme songs for the season include “Katachi” by Azuna Ruko (opening) and “Endless Embrace” by Myth & Roid (ending). HIDIVE is streaming the entirety of the anime series and describes the plot of the second season as:
There is no going back for Riko, Reg, and Nanachi, and the only way forward is to the bottom of the Abyss. However, the three friends weren’t the first to enter the unknown. Whatever happened to all the other explorers who braved the Abyss?
