A preview video was released for episode 3 of Lycoris Recoil on the official Aniplex YouTube channel. The upcoming episode is titled “More haste, less speed” and will air on Saturday, July 16, exclusively on Crunchyroll.

Lycoris Recoil Makes a Statement With a Fantastic Season Premiere
After debuting at #1 on our first Summer 2022 weekly poll, Lycoris Recoil came back last week with another action-packed episode filled with mystery and topped off with an exciting twist. In just two episodes, the series has managed to become one of the most popular new anime of the season! After two fast-paced episodes to kickstart the series in high gear, this week looks to cool off a little bit to showcase plot and character development as Chisato comes in contact with Takina’s old squad. Meanwhile, more shady stuff seems to be happening behind the scenes as Takina and Chisato get to know each other more. As we all know at this point, Lycoris Recoil isn’t some basic, run-of-the-mill series—anything could happen.
Lycoris Recoil is an original anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Sword Art Online‘s chief animation director, Shingo Adachi. The original story for Lycoris Recoil was created by Asaura, the same creator for the action-packed comedy series Ben-To. Among the cast are Chika Anzai as Chisato, Shion Wakayama as Takina, Ami Koshimizu as Misuki, and Kosuke Sakaki as Mika.
