The Samantha Vega Jujutsu Kaisen collection is quite big for an anime collaboration, including seven bags, six wallets, and six charms. Most of them match together to make a set. Each one is designed after one of the series’ characters, with subtle nods to that character’s color scheme or something that makes them recognizable.

For example, the set inspired by Megumi Fushiguro has his special hand signal, which is also on the matching charm. The one for Nobara Kugisaki represents her special move, the Straw Doll Technique, with nails on the zipper pulls.

If you are wondering about the seventh bag, you are right – one of them is not part of a 3-part set. It is based on Panda, and is a 3D panda head-shaped bag! It is by far the least subtle bag in the collection, but it is also arguably the most fun. Panda’s eyes are made from shiny rhinestones, and there is a fun I♡Panda tag on the side.

The Panda bag costs 22,000 yen (US$150), and the others are 9,800 yen (US$134.65) for the bags, 15,400 yen (US$104) for the wallets, and 4,950 yen (US$33) for the charms.

This is not the first otaku-centered line that Samantha Vega has released in Japan. Previously, the designer brand collaborated with huge franchises like Pokemon and Sailor Moon, both of which were very successful as well. Jujutsu Kaisen is just the latest franchise to get picked up by the fashion designer. Considering how popular it has been so far, it is likely not the last time we will see this kind of collaboration from Samantha Vega.

Often, otaku are left with nothing but t-shirts if they want to express their love for a show rather than truly fashionable items. Sometimes, anime fans want to show that they like a show without screaming their interest in everyone’s faces via a graphic t-shirt or collection of key chains. Bags and accessories like the ones in this line are perfect for otaku who want to display their favorite show to the people who recognize it but don’t necessarily need to scream it from the rooftops. It is something that the otaku world could really do with more of!

You can buy everything from the Samantha Vega Jujutsu Kaisen collection at their physical stores in Japan or via their online shop.
