Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 256 is just around the corner, and fans are already incredibly excited to see where the story goes next. The Shinjuku Showdown arc continues with great intensity, and the raid on Sukuna just got even more exciting, with many powerful individuals joining the battle in the previous chapter, and of course, more importantly, Sukuna hitting a second black flash.
From here onwards, things will only get more intense, and fans are incredibly excited to see where the author leads them in JJK chapter 256.
Sukuna Returns To Power
Sukuna Has Hit A Second Black Flash
JJK 256 is going to be pivotal for the story moving forward, as it appears that things are going to be much more intense for the sorcerers who joined the battle against Sukuna. The King of Curses was able to hit a powerful Black Flash against Larue towards the end of the chapter, and that in itself means that Sukuna should be getting back to his regular strength. For those who do not remember, Gojo hit multiple black flashes in the battle against Sukuna. It can be argued that he actually hit four black flashes, and according to the author, after the second black flash, his reverse cursed technique output returned to him.
There is no reason as to why the same logic should not apply to Sukuna as well. Just like Gojo, Sukuna will most likely regain his reverse cursed technique output, and that means that he will reach an unprecedented level of power now. Sukuna will regain his reverse cursed technique, and at the same time, this would allow him to heal from all the damage that he has taken. It must be noted that if he does truly get his reverse cursed technique back, then Sukuna can even regenerate his hands, as well as heal his heart. Normally, he should not be able to do that, because soul damage is incredibly difficult to heal from. However, since he shares the body with Megumi’s soul, he can actually see the outline of his soul and, thus, heal. This essentially means that Sukuna will be able to heal back to his best in JJK chapter 256, and by making use of reverse cursed technique, he can also restore his burned-out cursed technique. Essentially, this would mean that Sukuna will be back at full strength, and that the battle against the sorcerers will get that much easier for him.
It must also be noted that the wording of the author towards the end of JJK chapter 255 was rather weird. The author almost seemed to imply that in the case of Gojo, he got his reverse cursed technique back, but in the case of Sukuna, something else will happen. There is a small chance that instead of getting his reverse cursed technique back, Sukuna might gain some other advantage. This advantage could come in the form of his domain being made available to him, or, perhaps, something else entirely. Fans will simply have to wait for JJK chapter 256 to see.
Miguel Vs Sukuna Heats Up
Miguel Will Be Up Against A Stronger Sukuna
JJK chapter 256 will most definitely throw some light on Sukuna versus Miguel. As fans saw in the previous chapter, Miguel joined the battle, and he did exceedingly well against the King of Curses, at least when he was weakened. Miguel knows very well that he doesn’t stand a chance against Sukuna in normal conditions. However, right now, things are far from normal. Gojo has left Sukuna in taters, and that means taking him down is that much easier. That is precisely why Miguel was able to hold the upper hand in battle and that might change in JJK chapter 256. Depending on what power Sukuna regains, this battle is going to be incredibly difficult for Miguel from here on out.
If Sukuna regains his reverse cursed technique output, then he will most definitely be healing from his injuries, as well as overwhelming the likes of Miguel in the next chapter. This will give a reality check to the new competitor, as well as his compatriots from Team Geto as well.
It is also possible that Sukuna will regain his domain in the next chapter, and if that is the case, then, things for Miguel might just be even worse, as that would simply mean that Sukuna can utterly annihilate him indiscriminately using the power of Cleave, in Dismantle, and, potentially, even the World Slash.
Naturally, both of these powers are a clear indication of the fact that Sukuna will most definitely end up annihilating his enemies in chapter 256, and that is something that fans should very well be prepared for at this point. As has been the case over the course of the last few chapters, there are going to be more deaths to follow, and JJK chapter 256 might just be one of these sad chapters.
Maki and Yuji Team Up
Maki and Yuji Have Both Rejoined The Battle
While fans might see a Team Geto fall in JJK chapter 256, the duo of Yuji and Maki are not going to fall anytime soon. They just re-entered the battle, and for them to just lose again simply a chapter later doesn’t make much sense. As such, it is highly likely that fans will get to see the likes of Yuji and Maki team up in an attempt to take down the King of Curses and deliver deadly blows to him once again.
For those who do not remember, Yuji and Maki are key in the battle, as both of them can deal soul damage to the King of Curses, and if they keep up their efforts, then Sukuna can certainly be brought down to his last legs. In that case, defeating him then becomes a big possibility and that is something that fans are easily waiting to see in the manga at this point. That said, if Sukuna does return to full power in JJK 256, then, both Yuji and Maki will most definitely suffer. Given that they just entered the battle, they might not fall, however, they will still be pushed back and made to feel hopeless in JJK chapter 256.
As is evident, a lot of what will happen in JJK chapter 256 hinges on what power Sukuna gains. Regaining his reverse cursed technique means that Sukuna is going to be quite dangerous to take on in combat, as his physical attributes as well as cursed energy output will grow tremendously. Regaining his domain would simply mean death for the vast majority of the sorcerers that are currently around him. He’s too powerful for anyone to deal with, potentially aside from Maki.
At the same time, there’s also the power of Fuga to consider. If Sukuna makes use of Fuga in JJK chapter 256, then, fans will most definitely end up seeing a death, and that could potentially be either Miguel, or Larue. In either case, things certainly are not looking good for the sorcerers moving forward.
