Ganta Nakami was requested to go to the observatory to pick up some cardboard boxes while getting ready for a cultural festival by a girl in his class while he dozed off in a corner of the classroom. The ghosts of the previous female astronomy club members are allegedly haunting the observatory, which has been turned into a storage space.
He recognizes his classmate Isaki Magari as she is asleep inside the observatory as he makes his way there. She abruptly awakens and is startled to have Ganta staring at her. In an effort to calm one another down, they talk about their shared issue of insomnia.
The series is being composed by Rintaro Ikeda, the characters are being created by Hiroki Fukuda, and the music is being created by Yuki Hayashi. Cast members of the anime include:
