Given‘s latest anime installment was released yesterday, on December 1, in form of an original video animation (OVA), titled Given: Uragawa no Sonzai. The OVA focuses on Mafuyu and Ritsuka’s relationship and takes place during the events of the Given film. The DVD release coincides with the release of the Given manga’s seventh volume.

The DVD has been available for pre-order since the OVA’s announcement back in May of 2021. Fans who missed out on ordering the limited edition DVD will have to wait and see if it will be available on Crunchyroll for streaming. You can watch the trailer for Uragawa no Sonzai below.
The CD featuring the new song from Uragawa no Sonzai was also released on December 1. The single is now available to stream on Spotify.

Given‘s TV anime premiered in 2019 and is based on Natsuki Kizu’s boys’ love/music manga of the same name. The series is available to stream via Crunchyroll, which describes the plot as follows:

Ritsuka had started losing his passion for music in his everyday life. But then he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time.
