Demon Slayer is one of the hottest anime in the community, having garnered a dedicated fanbase upon its debut. Created by Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer rose to incredible heights, becoming one of the highest-selling manga in history and continuing to be one of the most celebrated series that receives new seasons and animated films regularly. The story of Demon Slayer follows a young Tanjiro whose life is twisted into despair when demons massacre his entire family, and his sister is transformed into one. This sets Tanjiro on a journey to avenge his family’s death and save his sister’s life by turning her back into a human.

The Demon Slayer anime is beautifully animated and has fantastic character journeys, where every new addition leaves an impact on the show. The direction of Demon Slayer should be praised, as it creates a gratifying experience where viewers can grow highly attached to the episodes. In addition, the sound design and songs chosen for the series are exceptional, and every opening and ending song choice is spectacular. With Demon Slayers‘ fourth season recently releasing weekly episodes, a new ending song has hit the waves to join the rest. Here are all the best Demon Slayer ending songs.

6 Shirogane – LiSA

LiSA Wails Over An Orchestral Background

The Japanese artist LiSA quickly rose to international notoriety when Demon Slayer first debuted, with one of the most played J-pop openings that quickly broke YouTube records. However, LiSA also lent her voice in multiple areas of the show, including an ending song in the second season of the series with “Shirogane”.

The song has a powerful instrumental, and LiSA’s voice always sounds terrific and leaves a great impression during the rolling credits of the anime. However, this particular go-around had the energy of an opening and didn’t quite compete with the other endings on the list.

5 Koi Kagare – MAN WITH A MISSION, Millet

Strong Guitars With Incredible Harmonies

“Koi Kagare”, by the spectacular band Man With a Mission, delivered an incredible song for season three of Demon Slayer. The song blasts out with an excellent hard rock feel, but also possesses a very well-put-together big band or orchestral feel with a wide variety of supporting instruments.

Koi Kagare also does very well in matching the high-octane tone of the third season, as Tanjiro and the Hashira’s of Love and Mist put it all on the line to take down not one, but two elite-level demons. Man With a Mission is no stranger to powerful anime endings and openings, as they also lent their voices to “Raise Your Flag” from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans.

4 Kamado Tanjiro no Uta – Go Shiina, Nami Nakagawa

A Somber Instrumental That Nails Its Tone

“Kamado Tanjiro no Uta” is a song that appears multiple times during the Demon Slayer anime, but was only used as an ending song once, in the show’s first season. In episode nineteen, the perilous battle that Tanjiro, his allies, and his sister have been going through slowly comes to a climax.

Through their combined efforts, Tanjiro and his sister defeat a powerful demon. The insert song trickles in with beautiful piano tones and tugs at the heartstrings of the viewers, perfectly matching the emotion of the images on-screen. Composer Go Shiina has lent his talent to a number of anime and video games, such as God Eater and the recently released Tekken 8, and he does the same here.

3 Asa Ga Kuru – Aimer

Powerful Vocals With Amazing Energy Throughout The Track

Aimer’s crystal vocals and raspy tone of voice are a beautiful pairing with Demon Slayer’s second season and the Entertainment District Arc. While Aimer sang both the opening and ending songs for this season, “Asa Ga Kuru” was quite a bit more impactful, with strong violins and powerful baselines that perfectly matched the rising tension in the season.

As Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke try as hard as they can to combat the demon menace and keep up with their Hashira senior, the tables turn dramatically, and a rescue turns into all-out chaos.

2 From The Edge – FunctionJunction And LiSA

An Incredible Pairing To An Incredible Season

The debut season of Demon Slayer arrived with stunning animation, an engaging story, wonderful characters, and excellent musical scores. Perhaps one of the most iconic track lists in recent years, anime fans all over the world were raving about the fantastic opening and endings by LiSA and FunctionJunction.

“From The Edge” delivered a powerful collaboration between the two, spawning a potent pop-infused track that perfectly fit the series’ dire straits and intense action. While there is no mistaking the pristine vocals of LiSA, FunctionJunction is also no stranger to anime, as they have been featured multiple times in the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed series.

1 Homura – LiSA

An Emotional Track That Won’t Leave A Dry Eye In The House

LiSA’s perfect vocals have risen to worldwide renown and attached themselves to the Demon Slayer anime, elevating the series higher. Through the many songs that LiSA lends to the show, she brings a perfect balance of epic stakes and emotional depth. Each track is just as good, if not better, than the last. A high standard was set with the release of the first Demon Slayer opening, “Gurenge”, which shot up the charts like wildfire.

LiSa also made a track for the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train animated film, which depicted the heartwrenching series of events that would spell the end for one of the most beloved Hashira’s in the Demon Slayer Corps. “Homura” would be the final song to play in the movie’s final moment. It’s a perfect fit for the melancholy moment that it left viewers on, leading the way into the second season.
