DC: 6 Best Multiverse Earths To Live In

Highlights

  • Earth-26 provides a wacky, safe haven with cartoon physics, offering a fun and thrill-filled experience for adventurers.
  • Earth-11 flips genders with a Greco-Amazonian matriarchy, showcasing familiar superheroes in a unique cultural setting.
  • Earth-5 embodies classic golden age society with Captain Marvel, brightening up the universe with cheer and optimism.

The Multiverse is vast and filled with endless possibilities. From universes with an abundance of heroes to universes with none. DC Comics has it all, and the Multiverse has been explored as a plethora of opportunities, from the light to the dark. Within the DC Comics Multiverse, fans might find an Earth that they would love to live on, whether it’s for its thrills or for its peace, the best Multiverse to live on depends on what fans are looking for.

Not everyone would want to live on an Earth filled with undead or one where Batman became the Joker, so it’s best to shy away from some horrifying realities in the Multiverse and instead look for ones where paradise is assured, and these Multiverse properties will certainly have fans feeling safe, and not like they’re about to fall prey to a Joker gag.

6 Earth-26

A World With Cartoon Physics

Whilst Earth-26 may seem like a living hell to some thanks to its lunacy and cartoon world, since everyone is anthropomorphic, it’s actually one of the safest places that one could live on. Earth-26 has cartoon physics, meaning that harm is rather hard to come by since those on Earth-26 can be flattened and squashed simply to expand themselves to normalcy like they were in a Saturday morning cartoon.

Earth-26 is a little more wacky than other Earths, but for those seeking more fun and thrill over the usual lives without criminals, then it’s definitely worth checking out. Besides, it’s a great time to be a civilian when protected by the likes of Captain Carrot.

5 Earth-11

A Greco-Amazonian World Where Gender Is Reversed

images/news/2024/3/11/dc-comics-best-multiverse-earths-live-on_2.jpg

Earth-11 is a curious one, as it’s essentially identical to the Earth that readers would know, except everyone has their gender-reversed. Ever since the Amazons of Themyscira imposed their rule and ideals onto the world, things changed forever. Themyscira ruled, and new technology and philosophies were developed, and generations of women helmed the future.

Earth-11 is a matriarchy with Greco-Amazonian culture, and many things are recognizable, albeit, more peaceful and with different names. Superheroes are still the same, but with swapped genders, and it makes one curious as to what life would be like on Earth-11.

4 Earth-15

The Perfect Universe

Whilst superheroes and supervillains may be locked in a never-ending war, Earth-15 has heroes leading the charge, as they are near perfected, and evolved to become the perfect heroes of society. Earth-15 is known to be perfect, where crime is almost non-existent thanks to how good and godlike the heroes of Earth have become.

Whilst Earth-15 seems like a safe place to live and a paradise for its very safety, it was unfortunately destroyed by Superman-Prime, so as long as readers visit this planet and leave before 2007, they’re in for a good time where they won’t have much anxiety about criminal activity.

3 Earth-23

Superman Is President of a Diverse World

Earth-23, much like Earth-11, reverses roles in society and places them through a different lens. Earth-23 is a society where most of the heroes are African-American, and the most notable aspect of this Earth is the very fact that Superman, Kalel of Krpyton, was raised as Calvin Ellis, and became the President of the United States through his civilian identity.

This Superman does not rule through his power, nor unjust, as Calvin Ellis was elected President and will do right by his country and lead by example to the world. It’s a nice take on Superman, a character who in recent years has ruled the world by force thanks to the evil Superman trope that has plagued comics and other forms of media.

2 Earth-5

Home of Captain Marvel & The Marvel Family

A kinder and simpler world, Earth-5 is far from basic, but its ideas of heroes and villains certainly are. This Earth houses Captain Marvel and his family of the Marvels, where they seek out injustices and crime to make the world a better place for the innocent lives living within. Earth 5 is a bright place, full of cheer and optimism thanks to its protectors and classic Golden Age society.

The reason this Earth is deemed so bright and merry is because it existed before DC had the character of Shazam, and it was known under the Fawcett Comics banner of publication. Earth-5 is a classic and timely place, where peace and smiles reign.

1 Earth-21

Protected By A Young Justice League

Who doesn’t love the Golden Age? Eath-21 encapsulates the wonder of comics of old, by existing as an Earth filled with young and vibrant heroes, ready to set out on a brave new world to protect and serve not just the country, but the entire world. Earth-21 has a difficult position, for there was anti-hero rhetoric during the Cold War. Yet, thanks to the fact that John F. Kennedy was never assassinated on Earth-21, heroes soon returned for a bright future.

Earth-21 is all about exploring the new frontier, and America is protected by its young heroes, the Justice League of America, with hope and optimism leading the charge, especially thanks to the great artist and renditions from the legendary Darwyn Cooke.
