As If Love Doesn’t Exist: Chapter 14 Recap

In the previous chapter of As If Love Doesn’t Exist, Ijun calls Siyeon as she is crying about her depressing life, but she feels better as she talks to him. Ijun is quick to realize that something is bothering Siyeon, but she tries to cover up by saying that she is just feeling hungry. Ijun asks where she is, and she says that she is on her way.

He asked her to find a restaurant and sit there since he was in an internet cafe near her house. Siyeon goes to the convenience store to get some ramen and other snacks, and she realizes that she feels a bit better now that she has finally eaten something.

Siyeon spots Ijun, who had come to her location, and she goes out to greet him. Ijun sees that Siyeon’s eyes are all puffy, and she lies that she ended up crying because she was so hungry. The two walk hand in hand for a while so that they can eat dinner after Siyeon feels a bit hungry.

Ijun mentions that Gwihyeon’s mandatory military service is about to end and how it feels like just yesterday that he enlisted. Siyeon mentions that she will be in college by the time Ijun is done with his military service, and she thinks to herself that she will also be living on her own by then.
