Ayres Sasaki’s aunt, Rita Matos, shared with local media, “What we know is that his show was scheduled for a specific time and was moved up. The Solar Hotel, the venue of the concert, has expressed profound sorrow over the incident. In a statement, they conveyed their dedication to supporting Sasaki’s family and their commitment to cooperating fully with the authorities to clarify the events. “We are fully dedicated to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures. We reaffirm our commitment to fully cooperating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events,” the statement read.

Beyond his musical career, Ayres Sasaki was an architect and urban planner. He leaves behind his wife, Mariana, to whom he had been married for just 11 months. Friends and colleagues remember him as a gifted performer with an extraordinary passion for music.

Adriano Freitas, a fellow musician and close friend, shared heartfelt memories of Sasaki. “We were friends in daily life, beyond music. He was a super charismatic guy, his talent was incredible. He was the best singer and guitarist in Belém. A great friend, very family-oriented, attentive to his friendships, and to those who appreciated his work,” Freitas recalled. Sasaki earned the nickname “king of encores” for his endurance and dedication, once performing for 12 hours straight.

Comedian and friend Natto Almeida added, “What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart, very polite. I think this will be the lasting mark he leaves behind.”

Ayres Sasaki’s sudden and untimely death has left a significant void in the hearts of his fans, friends, and family. He is remembered not only for his musical talents but also for his kind and generous spirit. As the investigation into his tragic passing continues, the music community mourns the loss of a remarkable artist and a beloved individual.
