Marc Anthony’s residence in the Dominican Republic was struck by a severe fire on Thursday, with local news cameras capturing the intense blaze. The large property, measuring 10,000 square feet, was seen enveloped in bright orange flames and thick, dark smoke, as reported by Latin American news outlet “El Gordo y La Flaca.”
The fire primarily affected the left side of the estate, which includes bungalows typically used for guest accommodation, leaving the main house of the “El Oasis” estate untouched.
A separate video shared on Instagram showed firefighters working to control the blaze. According to reports from the scene, they managed to bring the fire under control eventually.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. News footage revealed significant damage, with the foundation severely burned and debris scattered around the pool area.
Marc Anthony’s representative confirmed to “El Gordo y La Flaca” that neither the singer, his wife Nadia Ferreira, nor their young son Marco were present at the Casa de Campo Resort villa during the fire. The representative also assured that no staff members were harmed.
Attempts to contact Anthony’s representative for additional comments were unsuccessful. Neither Marc Anthony nor Nadia Ferreira has yet addressed the incident on social media.
