Tapas comes bearing gifts this holiday break for those who are looking for something to read during their downtime.
Tapas Media unveiled a set of new webcomics and seasons that will release on the platform starting on Dec. 18. The releases include the second season of the action series The SSS-Rank Hunter’s Lucky Draw, Season 2 of the workplace romance series My Boss’s Special Request and Season 6 of fantasy series Adonis. The new series that will make their debut are Twincognito Romance, The Max Level Heroine and The Villainess Tames the Beast.
Season 2 of SSS-Rank Hunter’s Luck Draw Is Here
Originally written by Shampion, gobatan adapted the novel into a webcomic with art by Yoon Seok Joon. The webcomic has over 600,000 views, with Season 1 having 43 chapters. The series follows pro-gamer Jin Jungdo who aspires to be as great as the Mana Users but can’t do so because his abilities prove useless against the monsters in the dungeon. When the “real universe” gives him the necessary set of skills to fight, he now has the chance to become the strongest hunter ever.
Season 2 of The SSS-Rank Hunter’s Lucky Draw premiered on Dec. 18.
My Boss’s Special Request Launches a Second Season
My Boss’s Special Request returns for a second season. Written by Hanna Park and illustrated by JINA, My Boss’s Special Request revolves around the relationship between a secretary and a CEO. Shin Soohyeon, a 29-year-old handsome young man who has to sacrifice practically his entire life to his job as a secretary to his boss, dubbed “Satan.” Just as he’s about to hand in his resignation letter, his boss Choi Jungwoo makes him an offer he can’t resist: she’ll give him all the money he needs to provide for his family on the condition that the two of them marry.
Season 2 of My Boss’s Special Request arrives on Dec. 20.
Adonis Season 6 Arrives Soon
Based on the original work by Hye-Dol, Adonis will premiere Season 6 on Dec. 22. The webcomic currently has over 200 chapters and is closing in on 8 million views. Team Adonis worked on the first four seasons while Gudang wrote Season 5 with art provided by KEISHO. The story follows swordswoman Ianna and nobleman Arhad whose fates entwine with each other. When Arhad kills her, Ianna reincarnates back into the same life for some reason. Now that Ianna is alive again, will she repeat the same fate, or will she turn things around?
Season 6 of Adonis releases on Dec. 22.
New Titles Coming to Tapas
Twincognito Romance arrives at Tapas on Dec. 19. Two days later, The Max Level Heroine will make its Tapas debut. Written by Kim Jiwoo, The Max Level Heroine follows the protagonist who suddenly finds herself in another world called Arcadia after she accidentally clicks on a quest window of the game she was playing. Arriving on Dec. 23, The Villainess Tames the Beast is an isekai story where the reader finds herself occupying the body of a sociopathic villainess who had promised to raise a boy until he’s a “beast” who is highly dependent of her. Two years later, that same boy has grown up to become an emperor and now vows to exact his revenge.
