To Those Who Long For My Destruction, Chapter 25 is the next for the series, and we’ll be seeing Leoni going after her next target, The Kaiserin, this time. Since the start of this series, Leoni has been going after everyone who has wronged in her past, and she has been highly successful so far as she has dealt with 3 of her targets.
The last of her targets was Lady Barbara, who wrongfully put her in prison in her past life, and now the target is going to be the Kaiserin, the one who hid the truth from the public and wrongfully blamed Isaac. The revenge plot is only getting better as more chapters get released, so stay tuned for more, as Leoni isn’t stopping any time soon!
To Those Who Long For My Destruction Chapter 24: Recap
The chapter opens up with Rutger announcing that the lady has siphoned treasures from Prince Richard’s repository. He then submits his evidence, a gem that was auctioned in the black market. The Kaiserin and Prince Richard boil with anger after seeing all of their schemes fall apart like this.
The audience in the courtroom looks at all the evidence and wonders how drunk with lust the Prince must’ve been to overlook everything. They all also appreciate how calm and composed Prince Rutger is.
Leoni watches all this drama unfold and smirks because it is going exactly how she wants it to. She then recalls how, before her retraction, the Kaiserin was the first to find out about Barbara’s schemes, but she kept it a secret because she didn’t want Richard to suffer humiliation.
The Kaiserin then plotted and blamed Isaac for everything. Isaac growled before her and eventually lost all his possessions just to get his wife Leoni out of prison.
After that incident, Leoni was wrongfully labeled as a thief, which makes her furious even now. Rutger then continues by saying that Prince Richard treated Lady Barbara with kindness, but she took advantage of him.
The Kaiser asks Rutger how he found out about all this, even though he knows that Leoni is the one behind all this. Rutger says that he tends to go out on evening strolls, and on one such stroll, he overheard a couple plotting to steal gems from the treasury.
The Kaiser asks Rutger why he didn’t report this immediately, and he says that he didn’t want Prince Richard’s status to be affected, so he wanted to first talk things through with Barbara.
Osmo smiles while watching his student perform so well while Barbara boils with anger. Rutger further adds that when he tried to talk with Barbara, she slapped him and Miss Leoni. The audience continues to watch this drama unfold with great amusement.
Rutger says that he could never compare himself to the Kaiser, but he is still royalty, and so what Barbara did is an act of insult towards the Orchestrauf Bloodline. He then demands the Kaiser to pass a judgment befitting the Dignity of the crown. Duke Vangler also presents a witness in the form of a maid. The Maid’s remarks solidify Rutger’s claims even more.
After listening to all the evidence and explanations, The Kaiser raises his hand and sentences Barbara and all her accomplices to Scaphism. Barbara tries to beg for forgiveness, but the guards take her away. The Kaiser also gifts Richard’s castle to Rutger for his loyalty to the crown. The court session then comes to an end, and the Kaiser walks away.
Leoni thinks that she’s still not done with the Kaiserin, so she’ll be going after her next. Rutger then approaches Leoni to ask her if he can stay with her, but she refuses immediately.
