That Girl is Cute… But dangerous? Chapter 53 will be another wholesome chapter where the character will spend their daily life. Nothing exciting or big happens in this series, but not every series has to be like that. Not every series is going to be like Bocchi the Rock, where one introverted girl goes out in search of herself and people to care for.
Though, that is not to say that the series has raised the bar for the slice-of-life. But then again, that is for people who are in it for some serious reading and not some light-hearted break. For those who just want to crush on the main ship or some light comedy, this series is for them.
It will be nice to see this story go on a serious note after a while, but it might not happen. The chapters are short and have hardly any focus on character development, and the development between characters is sparse. Kuroki also seems to be the kind of guy who wouldn’t have much to offer in that regard, as he doesn’t have much going on.
That Girl is Cute… But dangerous? Chapter 52 Recap
That Girl is Cute… But dangerous? Chapter 52 showed us another day in the life of the main characters. The events of this chapter didn’t have much to do with the events of the last chapters. Though there are chapters where the past chapters’ events are mentioned, usually every chapter is self-contained.
The manga follows an episodic trend for the most part, but some of it carries to the next chapter, that being the relation between the characters. Mai and Kuroki act closely as the chapters go on to indicate something has happened. But otherwise, there isn’t much that could be done in the series. The bigger events are very few.
And just like usual, the last chapter was about Chihara doing something and Kuroki getting shy by her actions. The girl is dangerous not in the way she dresses but in the way she is clueless about everything that goes around her. And while everyone distances themselves from her, Kuroki keeps getting stuck to her dangerous side.

That Girl is Cute… But dangerous? Chapter 53 Spoilers
That Girl is Cute… But dangerous? Chapter 53 will be another one-shot chapter about the lives of two odd people and their mundane daily lives. The mundane nature of their daily lives is broken only by their interaction with one another, but that is what the romance is about. That is what slice-of-life high school is about and the desire for it to stay that way.
There is a good reason that a lot of series from manga are centered on high school. It is a call to the past for the people living in the country now that they have become adults.
This series takes benefit of everything that makes those tropes work but is short in chapter length. Moreover, the chapters also come after a long duration, so it makes the waiting a little annoying even though the characters leave us satisfied.
