The 10 Commandments are the strongest members of the Demon Clan. Antagonists in The Seven Deadly Sins series, the 10 members were handpicked by the Demon Lord. Each member possesses a commandment and can endue on whoever breaks it. Additionally, each commandment is immune to the other’s commandment.

At their max power level, each commandment is a force to be reckoned with. Compared to each other, several commandments boast massive combat class stats that put the others to shame. Even though some commandments can’t keep up with the rest, they’re no less challenging to take down during battle.

Updated April 5th, 2023 by Casey Coates: This list has been updated to clarify the 10 Commandments’ abilities and combat class in Seven Deadly Sins.

10 Fraudrin

Combat Class: 31,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_0

The weakest of the 10 Commandments, Fraudrin was the commandment of Selflessness. Occupying the body of the Holy Knight Dreyfus, Fraudrin would replace Gowther. Fraudrin’s commandment caused selfish people to lose their sense of self, including their memories and feelings.

Fraudrin’s combat class maxed out at 31,000 — 13,000 in magic, 15,000 in strength, and 3,000 in spirit. His main ability, Full Size, granted him the ability to grow, increasing strength and range as he does. Despite his power, Fraudrin died after taking a single hit from Meliodas and was completely obliterated to ashes.

9 Melascula

Combat Class: 34,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_1

Once a small snake, Melascula grew to be a giant hooded snake that could also appear human after being exposed to Miasma. Melascula possessed the commandment of Faith. When in Melascula’s presence, anyone who displayed faithlessness had their eyes set on fire.

Melascula boasted a combat class of 34,000 — 31,500 in magic, 500 in strength, and 2,000 in spirit. When using her main ability, Hell Gate, Melascula could form portals. Merlin captured Melascula in a test tube after Gowther, Elizabeth, and Elaine paralyze her, returning Melascula to her original form.

8 Grayroad

Combat Class: 39,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_2

Locked away after losing the Ancient War, Grayroad became the commandment of Pacifism. If anyone killed someone in Grayroad’s presence, their life sped up until they died. Grayroad had a combat class of 39,000. Like Melascula, most of her power came from magic.

Grayroad boasted numbers of 26,500 in magic, 10,000 in strength, and 2,500 in spirit. Her main ability was Curse. Since this allowed Grayroad to fight by causing diseases, she was protected from breaking her own commandment. Grayroad got captured in a test tube after a one-on-one battle with Merlin.

7 Galand

Combat Class: 40,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_3

In his normal form, Galand was the weakest of the 10 Commandments, boasting a combat class of 27,000 — 1,000 in magic, 24,000 in strength, and 2,000 in spirit. As the commandment of Truth, anyone who knowingly told a lie in Galand’s presence got turned to stone.

Galand’s main ability was Critical Over, and achieving that ability raised his combat class to 40,000. Galand set the rules in a battle against Escanor, stating that the battle would be over when one of them died. However, being petrified of Escanor’s power during the day, Galand tried to flee the battle and was turned to stone by his own commandment.

6 Gloxinia

Combat Class: 50,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_4

Gloxinia was the first King of the Fairy Forest before becoming the commandment of Repose. His commandment of Repose wasn’t revealed before his death. Gloxinia died along with Drole during a fight against Chandler, Meliodas’s former master.

Gloxinia possessed a combat class of 50,000 — 47,000 in magic, zero in strength, and 3,000 in spirit — and wielded the Spirit Spear Basquias. Like King’s Spirit Spear, it could change form. Gloxinia often kept the form of tentacles wrapped around his body. Gloxinia’s main ability was Disaster, a power he shared with King, and he could manipulate nature.

5 Derieri

Combat Class: 52,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_5

Rocking an awesome hairstyle and partially covered by her own darkness, Derieri was the commandment of Purity. Like Gloxinia, her commandment rules weren’t revealed before her death. Derieri had a combat class of 52,000 — 1,500 in magic, 48,000 in strength, and 2,500 in spirit — and her main ability was Combo Star.

If she could attack consecutively, Combo Star added 200,000 pounds of force to Derieri’s strikes, resetting if interrupted. After they learned Estarossa was Mael, Gowther, King, Sariel, Tarmiel, and Derieri teamed up to fight. During the battle, Mael pierced Derieri’s heart and claimed her commandment.

4 Monspeet

Combat Class: 53,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_6

The gentleman demon Monspeet was the commandment of Reticence. Those who opposed reticence by expressing inner feelings or emotions had their voices blocked. Monspeet boasted a combat class of 53,000 — 34,000 in magic, 16,000 in strength, and 3,000 in spirit.

Monspeet also possessed two main abilities. Hellblaze allowed him to create black flames. Other characters used Hellblaze in the series, but Monspeet became known as one of its greatest users. If Monspeet used Trick Star, he could switch two objects at will. In a battle against Estarossa, Monspeet sacrificed his life to save Derieri.

3 Drole

Combat Class: 54,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_7

The giant Drole became the commandment of Patience. Like some of his peers, Drole’s commandment rule also wasn’t stated before his death. Drole possessed the ability Ground and had a max combat class of 54,000 — 14,000 in magic, 36,500 in strength, and 3,500 in spirit.

Like Diane’s ability to work ground, Drole could manipulate the earth and use Creation to create power dwarfs. Drole had a reputation for using Drole’s Dance, a skill also used by Diane, which raised his power. Drole perished alongside Gloxinia during the battle against Chandler.

2 Zeldris

Combat Class: 61,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_8

The younger brother of Meliodas, Zeldris became the commandment of Piety. Anyone who turned their back to Zeldris became his slave, or slave to the Demon King. Zeldris boasted a combat class of 61,000 — 10,000 in magic, 47,200 in strength and 3,800 in spirit.

Zeldris had access to Hellblaze and two other main abilities. Granted a portion of power lent by the Demon King, the ability, God, let Zeldris nullify magic attacks. Zeldris’ other main ability was Ominous Nebula, which created a vortex that sliced anything in its path.

1 Mael (Estarossa)

Combat Class: 88,000

Seven Deadly Sins: 10 Commandments, Ranked By Their Power_9

Mael proved to be the strongest of the 10 Commandments and was once one of the Four Archangels. Mael became the commandment of Love, and anyone who harbored hatred couldn’t inflict damage against him during battle. An expert sword-wielder, Mael’s combat class started at 60,000, being slightly weaker than Zeldris — 3,000 in magic, 53,000 in strength, and 4,000 in spirit.

After absorbing Galand, the commandment of Truth, Mael’s combat class increased to 88,000. Mael’s main abilities were Hellblaze and Full Counter. Unlike Meliodas’ Full Counter, Mael’s Full Counter could only return physical attacks.
