In the previous chapter of Pure Villain, Doryung hears an odd noise on his call with Rose before the call cuts off abruptly. Doryung rushes out of the house to go see Rosa to make sure that she is alright. Meanwhile, the man who had his gun pointed at Rosa actually pulled the trigger, but nothing happened since the gun was out of bullets.
Rosa sighs in relief, but Jung Jin is instantly angered at the man’s antics. He steps up in front of Rosa and stands in front of the man threateningly, asking him why he did what he did with a murderous rage in his eyes.
Rosa recognizes Jung Jin, and she stops him, asking the man to run away and never do something like that ever again. Jung Jin is distressed, and he asks her what if the gun had bullets and she had gotten hurt. Rosa shrugs him off, and they get into an argument when he tells her that he knows she is Black Dog.
Doryung appears on the scene, and he thinks Jung Jin might be threatening Rosa. Jung Jin tells her that Doryung wouldn’t accept her second identity and whispers the truth about the Special Police Headquarters and that they were formed to wipe out the special ability users.
Rosa gets chills when she hears that, and Jung Jin leaves without turning back. Rosa rushes to Doryung and hugs him tightly, clearly disturbed by what had happened. At the Headquarters, the scientist is making a watch with Yoo Dai’s partial DNA, and she believes it will finally be complete when she gets her hand on the Black Dog or Rosa Park’s DNA.
The scientist summons Doryung and makes him wear that new watch before he leaves to meet Rosa. Rosa had been waiting for Doryung, and she spotted him, but something felt off about him before he raised his hand to power up his abilities.
