Eiyuu has been suffering from a high fever, which has caused everyone to panic, including Shio and Akari, but sadly for Eiyuu, “Romcoms doesn’t happen even when you have a cold”.
In the last chapter of Osanajimi to wa Romcom ni Naranai, we saw Eiyuu receiving some top-tier treatment because of his fever. The chapter focuses mainly on Eiyuu and Haru, who have been at a distance for a while because of Haru’s confession.
Now that these misunderstandings have been resolved, Eiyuu can move forward without regrets as he explores the relationships that he truly desires!
Osananajimi to wa Romcom ni Naranai Chapter 50: Recap
The Chapter opens up with Eiyuu lying on his bed because of a serious cold. Runako, Shio, and Akari stay by Eiyuu’s side to check up on him and to help him recover. Shio checks Eiyuu’s temperature, and it turns out to be 39.6, which is really high. Runako brings some drinks for Eiyuu to help him ease up, but his fever still doesn’t go down. Shio jokes that she thinks idiots don’t catch cold, while Akari announces that this is time for an all-night nursing.
Eiyuu asks both Shio and Akari to go home as he would never forgive himself if they also got a fever because of him. Eiyuu remembers how he always gets stuck nursing the two of them, which has stayed the same since their childhood. Shio and Akari start feeling touched by Eiyuu’s words, but they get mad after he states his reasons. They decide to leave as Eiyuu seems to be doing fine now.
After Eiyuu gets left alone in his room, he starts remembering how Haru confessed to him. He keeps rolling in his bed, thinking that it’s all over now when suddenly Haru comes rushing into his room.
Haru instantly goes into panic mode after seeing Eiyuu in such a miserable state, but Eiyuu asks her to go home by saying that he can take care of himself and also that she might catch his cold.
Haru says that it’s no issue because she never catches a cold, and then she asks Eiyuu to just go along with her remedy. Eiyuu feels a bit awkward, but Haru just continues with her treatment.
She pulls out some onions and wraps them around Eiyuu, which nearly suffocates him. Haru explains that she learned from her aunt that onions could be used to treat fever, and then she takes out even more such stuff.
Runako enters the room after a while to check up on Eiyuu, but she is shocked after seeing him covered in different kinds of vegetables.
Haru says that she was just trying to treat Eiyuu’s fever, but Runako argues that she didn’t have to turn him into a salad for that. Haru thinks that Runako knows a lot about this stuff, so she asks her if she should use shrimp on Eiyuu.
Runako gets annoyed with Haru, so she asks her to leave them alone for a bit. Haru says that her treatment hasn’t finished, and then she takes out a special Daikon Honey Soup. Runako approves the soup as it’s proven to treat sore throat and cough, but Eiyuu doesn’t feel too good about it. Eiyuu still decides to drink it in one go just because Runako believes in it, but he passes out right after drinking it.
Eiyuu wakes up after some time and finds Haru sitting next to him. She checks Eiyuu’s health and then decides to leave, but Haru stops her by reminding her of what happened earlier. Haru says that she likes Eiyuu, but she doesn’t want to ruin the relationship she has with him now. She further adds that she and Eiyuu will remain best buddies forever!
