The Blackbeard Pirates have been pretty active since One Piece‘s Final Saga started. Since Chapter 1059, “The Matter Involving Captain Koby,” They’ve been shown on Amazon Lily, Hachinosu, attacking the Heart Pirates, and heading for Egghead. Compared to the slow, methodical pace they’ve been moving at throughout the rest of the series, this is dizzying.
It also makes it hard to keep track of where everyone is. Blackbeard, his Titanic Captains, and Kuzan have all been separated by how thinly they’ve been spread and some of their locations aren’t even fully accounted for. To keep things organized, here’s where every major Blackbeard Pirate is as of Chapter 1080, “The Hero of Legend.”
Where Is Each Blackbeard Pirate As of Chapter 1080?
About four or five Blackbeard Pirates are fighting the Heart Pirates, including Trafalgar Law. They include Jesus Burgess, Van Augur, Doc Q, Stronger, and Blackbeard himself; the fifth member depends on how Stronger is counted. They’re currently challenging the Surgeon of Death for his Devil Fruit and his Road Poneglyph rubbings.
On Hachinosu, Blackbeard’s main base of operations, there are four of the Titanic Captains present. They are Shiryu, Avalo Pizarro, Vasco Shot, and Sanjuan Wolf. They’re currently engaged with SWORD members led by Monkey D. Garp in a battle over Captain Koby, whom they’re currently holding prisoner.
It should be noted that Chapter 1080’s appearance of Blackbeard doesn’t take place in the present. It was a flashback featuring himself, Kuzan, Vasco, Van Augur, Pizarro, and Doc Q, but this doesn’t necessarily mean they’re there anymore. Again, Blackbeard, Van Augur, and Doc Q are currently battling Law while Pizarro and Vasco are still on Hachinosu. This means that those expecting a battle between Garp and Blackbeard will have to wait a while longer.
That leaves three members of Blackbeard’s main crew unaccounted for. Catarina Devon, Laffitte, and Kuzan’s current locations are all unknown. Outside the Chapter 1080 flashback, Kuzan was last seen delivering Charlotte Pudding to Blackbeard along with Van Augur, but it’s unknown whether they’re still together. There’s no telling where the other two are.
It’s important to keep in mind that one of Blackbeard’s ships is currently on its way to Egghead where the Straw Hat Pirates are. This ship might have some people from the Law vs Blackbeard fight aboard, which would also mean that the battle has been decided. Alternatively, this ship could have the missing crew members on their way to cause trouble on Blackbeard’s behalf. Or maybe it’s Law. Either way, whoever’s on that ship is sure to stir things up once they make landfall on Egghead.
This is a lot to keep track of, especially since Blackbeard’s team hasn’t been heard from since October. Not only that but most of the crew is comprised of people the audience has yet to become intimately familiar with. That ship headed for Egghead can be especially concerning. Even spread out like this, the Blackbeard Pirates are a formidable crew that should not be taken lightly.
