Carrot hails from the Momoko Dukedom, a civilization developed by the Mink Tribe on the island of Zou. She is also a member and former commander of the Inuarashi Musketeer Squad, the Dukedom’s primary defensive force. Carrot first appeared during One Piece’s Whole Cake Island Saga, where she joined the Sanji Retrieval Team to rescue Sanji from an arranged marriage with Chocolate Pudding of the infamous Big Mom Pirate gang. Carrot received her combat training from Pedro of the Treetops, the former Nox Pirate Captain and a fellow member of the Sanji Retrieval Team. After Pedro sacrificed himself to ensure the Straw Hat’s escape, Carrot pledged to carry on his will as a permanent ally and friend of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Carrot Doesn’t Need Devil Fruit Powers

While Carrot does not possess the powers of a devil fruit, as a Kingsbird, she has enough stamina to be active and battle-ready at any time of day. In addition to being incredibly fast and agile, Carrot also possesses formidable physical strength, particularly in her legs, as she can jump extremely high and perform powerful kicks. Utilizing her special Sulong form and a Mink ability called Electro, Carrot can channel electricity into her bites and kicks to take down hordes of enemies on her own.
