A cosplayer has recreated an incredibly accurate costume for Naruto’s Ino Yamanaka.
Reddit user izanamitan has effectively evoked the iconic Leaf Village kunoichi, assuming the stance of Ino’s Mind Transfer Jutsu. This telepathic ability allows the shinobi to control the body of her opponent, including using chakra techniques. The Mind Transfer Jutsu is a signature movie for the Yamanaka clan. In addition to the jutsu, Izanamitan precisely recreates Ino’s long blonde locks and her strikingly blue eyes. Due to her authentic take on the Naruto character, the comment section praised her for doing Ino justice.

Izanamitan has not only posed as Ino, but also several other characters from Naruto. The cosplayer brought Sakura Haruno to life, Ino’s longtime rival, and Madara Uchiha. Like Ino, she recreated the Uchiha’s signature technique, the distinct red eyes of the Sharingan. Additionally, Izanamitan also posed as Mito Uzumaki, the first jinchūriki of Kurama, the Nine-Tails, and Kushina Uzumaki, Naruto’s mother.
Aside from Naruto, the cosplayer also transformed herself into Genshin Impact’s Ganyu in the moments before the character’s Elemental Burst. Izanamitan has also cosplayed as Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach, Makima from Chainsaw Man and Griffith from Berserk. Despite the three previously mentioned anime, both characters from Naruto and Genshin Impact remain a popular choice among cosplayers to recreate in addition to My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan.
Naruto’s Rich History
Released in 1999 in Weekly Shōnen Jump, Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto follows a young ninja named Naruto Uzumaki whose biggest dream is to become the Hidden Leaf Village’s Hokage. However, many people in Naruto’s hometown ostracize him due to his status as a jinchūriki for the Nine-Tails. Their resentment was driven by the previous attack of the Nine-Tails on the village the day Naruto was born, which ended the lives of both his and Iruka Umino’s parents. Unaware of his past, Naruto eventually gains control of Kurama and even reunites with his father, The Fourth Hokage, in the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Pierrot and Aniplex adapted the popular manga series into its first anime adaptation, Naruto, which ran from 2002 to 2007. After it ended, the anime received a sequel, Naruto: Shippuden. The follow-up series aired 500 episodes from 2007 to 2017. With the popularity of both series, the Naruto franchise continued with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which focuses on the children of the original characters. Featured characters include Naruto and Hinata Hyuga’s children, Boruto and Himawari, Ino and Sai’s son Inojin and Sakura and Sasuke Uchiha’s daughter Sarada.
Naruto and the anime’s sequel series are available to stream on Hulu.
