He announced on her face that he would dedicate his time and attention to her as a husband would. It felt out of character for him to say that, but given what he is through and all the events, it made sense. Although, it still doesn’t make sense that it took him this long to open up.

Meanwhile, the thoughts racing in the female leads’ heads were different and focused on things that brought them together.

She was still looking at their shared past and how it played a vital role in bringing the two together and finally acting like a married couple. And with that, the second half of the chapter focused on the two making up for the lost time.
