Merry Marbling Chapter 29 will have the Sunbae realize that things have gotten too serious between the two leads. Ianha has finally started to have a backbone and act against his sunbae, an act that shows his growth as a character. He is no longer the dashing student who will keep his appearance. He is now willing to let go of that.
And this development is what was hinted at by the premise of the story in the beginning. Ianha is a top-grade student who is perfect in every manner and is always willing to help others out. But he has a secret. All of his good deeds are an act that he does to maintain his good image.
He Enters Yugeon, an average guy with not much going on for him. He founds himself being helped by Ianha after he had to take an urgent leave. Yugeon soon becomes one of the few people that learns about Ianha’s secret. He threatens to expose that secret to everyone because it isn’t right for him to deceive others just to uphold his image.

Merry Marbling Chapter 28 started in typical Manhua fashion and we are brought to the moment right after the last chapter ended. It is to be noted that it is only prevalent in the manhwa and manhua most of the time. Manga doesn’t usually do that, and even the small recaps are in the text at the corner of the panels.
That aside, Yugeon is infuriated that he can’t enter the club now that he has finally decided to be part of the group. He asked Ianha if he knew anything about this, and gets angry when the lying prince of the school said he didn’t know anything. Moreover, it seemed like the club president deliberately wanted him out of the club.
Yugeon asked Ianha to call him but the latter admitted to depositing his phone before coming to the class. Yugeon laughed at that and took out his phone, telling Ianha that he is the only one in the class who deposits his phone. However, his phone gets confiscated from beyond the door as Mirye peeks in and snatches the phone away.

Moreover, Ianha will show how much he cares for Yugeon. As spending time with him has changed the boy considerably and makes decisions he wouldn’t have otherwise thanks to his mother’s influence. Speaking of his mother, she hasn’t been seen for a bit while and it appears that will be the case for a while. It could be said she was someone who pushed the plot in the beginning, but now she doesn’t have much use.
