Absolute Sword Sense Chapter 48 will be the latest installment in the Fantasy Action Adventure Regression Manhwa. The story follows the life of a guy who shattered his spirit core early on in his life. He was kidnapped and indoctrinated into a cult where they trained him.
He died on a mission while being exposed to the energy of a mysterious artifact. The mysterious energy sent him back in time to the day he was kidnapped by the cult. This time around, he plans to do things differently.
Soh Woon-Hwi was known as the Black Sheep of the Yulang Prefecture. After losing his Spirit Core, he gave up on life and spent his time indulging in all forms of debauchery. But that didn’t last long, as he was kidnapped by the Blood Demon Cult.
He was They trained him to be a spy as it didn’t require much internal energy. While on a mission to steal an artifact for a certain client, he was double-crossed. He died while being exposed to the artifact’s energy, which caused him to regress.
Though he preferred not to be associated with the cult anymore, they caught up to him nonetheless. He disguised his knowledge of the Blood Demon Cult as stories told to him by his grandfather. He scammed his way into the cult, but this time, he was going to be the one taking advantage.
The artifact that made him regress, “The Records Of The Sword Sage,” gave him the ability to see and talk to weapon spirits. The first spirit he met was Sodam, which was the spirit of the Dagger left for him by his mother.
With the help of Sodam, he was able to make a good impression within the cult. He was noticed by Hae Ak-Cheon, one of the Four Supremes of the Blood Demon Cult. Ak-Cheon, who usually never takes in disciples, made an exception for him.
Ak-Cheon introduced him to the concept of Innate Energy and the Central Energy Core. The Central Energy Core is an alternative. However, it eats away at your life force. Woon-Hwi, with the help of Nam-Cheon, found a safe way to access it.
Nam-Cheon is the sword spirit of the sword that belonged to the Sword Master of the Southern Skies, who was a long-time rival of Ak-Cheon. At the moment, there is strife within the Demon Blood Cult. The cult is divided on who should inherit the cult.
The race is now between Baek Hye-Hyang and Baek Reyon-Ha, the older and younger daughters of the Demon Blood Cult’s deceased Head. The Faction is split between the two sisters, with Woon-Hwi aligning himself with the latter.

After walking up from his fight with Baek Reyon-Ha, Woon-Hwi saw Seo Galma’s first disciple, Go Eun-Jae, being suspicious. He followed him and saw Eun-Jae release the 1000 Mile Pursuit Scent. It’s that item that is used in tracking.
They fought, and Woon-Hwi was able to defeat him. He brought him back to the others and filled them in. Reyon-Ha had Galma destroy his spirit core as well as cut the veins to his limbs. After covering their tracks, they made their escape.
We come to know that the Heavenly Earth Sect and the Sea Lotus Faction are the ones who are after them. They split themselves and went separate ways to maximize their chances of escape. Little did they know there was another spy with them, but not of the same kind.
It was one of Baek Hye-Hyang’s. Woon-Hwi exposed him and killed him on the spot. But it was too late. Their location was already exposed. Woon-Hwi went ahead to stall for time but didn’t have to.
Turns out their escape was a well-planned ruse to weed out the spies between them. Both Seo Galma and Han Baek-Ha came to their assistance. And soon after, Hae Ak-Cheon entered the Fray as well.
Ak-Cheon defeated the strongest out of Hye-Hyang’s men, easily sending the rest into a panic. Galma asked Baek-Ha to protect Reyon-Ha before getting ready to take care of the rest of the enemies there. Woon-Hwi got ready to show off his skills as well.
Absolute Sword Sense Chapter 48 Spoilers & Predictions
In the next chapter, we will see the gang defeat the rest of Hye-Hyang’s men and head to the rendezvous point. The race toward succession has become stronger than ever. What Hye-Hyang did cannot be ignored. Reyon-Ha must do something to cement her claim to the throne in some way or the other.
Furthermore, we are yet to see the 1st and 3rd Supremes. We know they have aligned with Hye-Hyang’s, so maybe we will see them very soon.
