Rin Kagawa is a junior (kouhai) of Tanaka Ayumu, Kakuryuu Takeru and Mikage Sakurako. She attends the same middle school with all of her seniors, and also in high school. She was in the former Kendo Club in middle school and joins the Shogi club due to following Ayumu's steps. She loves to compete in any competition especially Shogi and Kendo with her senpais, especially Ayumu and Takeru.
