The following contains spoilers for Chapter 95 of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun by Aidalro, now available to read in English via Yen Press.

The highly-anticipated Chapter 95 of the Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun manga reveals some shocking new information, thanks to Sakura Nanamine answering any questions Yashiro Nene has while the boundary of No. 6 crumbles to pieces around them. Two major pieces of information are shared within the new chapter’s pages — one of which surrounds the story’s protagonist herself.

Yashiro Nene originally planned on peeling the seal off of No. 6’s yorishiro — a young woman called Sumire — herself, but the plan changes when the boundary begins to crumble and shatter without warning. Yashiro is left confused but then encounters Sakura Nanamine, who tells her that she will answer any questions Yashiro desires to know the answer to.

Toward the end of Chapter 95, Sakura casually mentions that Yashiro’s lifespan is set to run out once she destroys every single yorishiro. She has been told previously in Hanako-kun that she is fated to die within the year, though this more specific tidbit of information definitely changes things for her. Does this mean her goal of destroying the yorishiros of the School Wonders has been for nothing? What will this mean for the story at hand?

At one point in the chapter, Sakura states to Natsuhiko that even if Yashiro decides to stop destroying the yorishiros, she will nudge the protagonist in the “right direction.” It’s been known for a long time now that Sakura isn’t on the good side, though this moment definitely takes the cake in emphasizing her stance.
