See You in My 19th Life will return with new spinoff episodes along with its live-action adaptation this June.

WEBTOON revealed the platform will release a special See You in My 19th Life spinoff called Memories shortly after the live-action adaptation’s premiere. Fans can read the first five episodes on June 21 when the spinoff drops. Meanwhile, as they wait, fans can check out the live-action adaptation, starring Shin Hyesun and Ahn Bohyun as Ban Jieum and Moon Seoha, on June 17, where it will stream on Netflix.

Per WEBTOON’s synopsis of Memories:

The special spin-off episodes, “Memories,” follow young siblings Juwom and Seoha after their mother passes away and has not yet been reincarnated, as they search for an old necklace their mother lost in a small countryside town she frequented and embark on an adventure down memory lane.

See You in My 19th Life is a Hit Webtoon

One of the most popular fantasy romance series on WEBTOON, clocking in at 84.6 million views, Lee Hey’s See You in My 19th Life debuted on WEBTOON in December 2020, six months after launching on South Korea’s Naver WEBTOON in June. The main series ran until December 2022, concluding with 114 chapters and a spinoff consisting of eight chapters. See You in My 19th Life revolves around an unusual young woman who has the ability to remember all of her past lives. However, her 18th life as Yoon Juwon is cut short after an accident kills her. Now living her 19th life as Ban Jieum, she tries to reconnect with the boy she met in her previous life, Moon Seoha, but she may find it more difficult than she anticipated when she realizes Seoha’s heart may not have room for Jieum as he has never forgotten Juwon.

Co-produced by Studio N, a subsidiary of WEBTOON Entertainment that adapts WEBTOON series into TV and film, and Studio Finecut, Lee Najeong will oversee the See You in My 19th Life adaptation as the director. Studio N previously produced adaptations for Bloodhounds and Sweet Home. Joining Shi Hyesun and Ahn Bohyun in See You in My 19th Life will be Ha Yoonkyung and Ahn Donggoo, who will portray Yoon Chowon, Ban Jieum’s younger sister in her previous life when she was Yoon Juwon, and Ha Doyoon, Seoha’s childhood friend, respectively.

See You in My 19th Life’s special spinoff Memories releases on WEBTOON on June 21. The entire webcomic is available to read on WEBTOON, with the first seven chapters free. The live-action series hits Netflix on June 17.
