The anime series Tokyo Revengers, based on the popular manga of the same name, is receiving a new season. The announcement was made on social media accompanying a previously unseen teaser clip from Liden Films.

The Tokyo Manji Gang will confront their greatest threat in the Tenjiku Arc of Liden Films' Tokyo Revengers. Tenjiku, the most powerful gang in Yokohama and a direct threat to Takemichi and his friends, was introduced at the end of the previous season. Tenjiku's Four Heavenly Kings are featured in a violent exhibition, as well as a conflict amongst the gang leaders, in the minute-plus preview.

What Fans Know About the Upcoming Season of Tokyo Revengers

Fans watching towards the end of the teaser may have found the interaction between Takemichi and the Tenjiku gang member curious. Seemingly standing on the same side, this yet-unnamed character says, "Takemichi, without being a traitor [to Tenjiku], take care of yourself." This is before the trailer ominously closes out with Takemichi and Naoto holding hands, as Naoto whispers, "Takemichi, this is the highest ambition."

The Four Heavenly Kings' cast list for the upcoming season was also released. Kakucho is voiced by Seiichirō Yamashita (Cid Kagenou, The Eminence of Shadow), Shion Madarame is voiced by Kouki Uchiyama (Shigaraki, My Hero Academia), Ran Haitani is voiced by Daisuke Namikawa (Hisoka, Hunter x Hunter) and Kanji is voiced by Tetsu Inada (Gantetsusai, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku). The leader of Tenjiku, Izana Kurokawa is voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki (Nagi, Blue Lock)
