The chapter opens up with the Olympian Constellation offering “Lightning Carnival,” one of Zeus’s fables, to Dokja. The Constellation “One Who Stabbed His Own Eyes” says that this fable is on a different level from what any other Constellation can offer.
Dokja asks him why he is offering such a fable to him, and the Constellation replies that the fates and he saw a piece of Dokja’s fate which showed that soon Dokja would have the qualification to succeed in “The Lightning Carnival.” Dokja gets shocked and asks Constellation about his fate, but leaves after saying that the decision is for Dokja to make.
Dokja thinks that if the fates foretold his fate, it is bound to happen. Dokja gets anxious because of all the fable offers when he notices someone peeking through the door. He notices that it’s Uriel even though he expected the Owner of the Ark. Dokja feels at ease after seeing Uriel as she’s the only Constellation who has been by his side since the start.
Uriel asks Dokja if he’s upset because she came, but Dokja gets left speechless by seeing Uriel’s cuteness. Uriel rushes towards Dokja and hugs him. She then tells him she misses him, and Dokja says he misses her too. He asks her if she wants him to pick “Messiah’s path.”
Uriel replies that she came to ask him about the fable, but she forgot because he’s so handsome. She then asks Dokja if he’ll pick the fable and says it’s the best. Dokja says that even though Messiah’s Path is the best fable, he will lose something important if he picks it. Uriel agrees with him even though he doesn’t think she would be easily convinced.
Uriel thinks hard about a way to prevent Dokja from becoming a Eunuch, but he skips past her before she can speak. After Uriel, Dokja meets a lot of Constellations, and they all introduce their fables to him. Soon the succession results get announced, with Selena Kim taking “Aegis of Fortitude.”
Next, Joonghyuk walks up to the stage for his succession. Meanwhile, Dokja thinks about how to make this event fair for the incarnations. He suddenly gets an idea, so he rushes toward Joonghyuk to stop him from speaking. Dokja announces that he and Joonghyuk won’t be picking any fables; instead, they will buy them.
