JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 anime has revealed the preview images and synopsis for episode 12 ahead of its October 12 premiere. Studio MAPPA returned to animate the 2nd season, with Shota Goshozono as the director. The episode is titled “Blunt Sword,” and you can check out the preview images below:
JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 Episode 11 Synopsis
Yuji and Fushiguro succeeded in stopping the curse user’s technique and dropping the “seal that does not let in the sorcerers”. Meanwhile, Nanami tries to meet up with Ijichi to complete a request that can only be passed at the first level, but discovers Ijichi lying on the ground after being stabbed by someone. Shortly before Nanami discovers Ijichi, Kugisaki and Nitta, under Maki’s instruction, head for Ijichi’s place, but then a curse-maker appears.
The first part of the anime covered the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, before moving on to the Shibuya Incident arc on August 31. The main cast is reprising their roles. The main staff for JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 includes:

Studio MAPPA animated both the 24-episode first season and the movie for the franchise. Akutami Gege writes and draws the original mang and it is available on the free website MangaMonster in English translation. Crunchyroll describes the story:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
