Rejecting his familial ties and adopting a new identity, Toji made it his mission to exact vengeance upon the world of Jujutsu Sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen, utilizing any means at his disposal. Gaining notoriety as the "Sorcerer Killer," Toji earned this moniker through his remarkable efficiency in eliminating formidable Jujutsu Sorcerers with remarkable ease. His success stemmed from a combination of the knowledge he acquired as a former member of the Zenin clan, his extraordinary physical abilities, and his strategic prowess in battle. Toji Fushiguro possessed a unique and extraordinary trait known as a Heavenly Restriction in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. This form of binding, typically imposed on a Sorcerer's body or Cursed Energy, involves sacrificing certain capabilities in exchange for acquiring other extraordinary abilities. Toji's case was particularly distinctive as he was born with virtually zero Cursed Energy, setting him apart from others with Heavenly Restrictions.

In return for forfeiting the ability to utilize jujutsu, Toji gained exceptional speed and strength, coupled with heightened senses enabling him to perceive Cursed Spirits. His resistance to curses was notable, allowing him to track Jujutsu Sorcerers or Cursed Spirits using cues such as footprints and odors. During the Shibuya Incident, when revived by Granny Ogami's seance within her grandson's body, Toji's lack of Cursed Energy prevented the technique from naturally expiring, granting him control over the host's body.

Toji's absence of Cursed Energy also granted him the ability to effortlessly bypass barriers designed to impede normal Jujutsu Sorcerers, Curse Users, or Cursed Spirits. Moreover, he could evade detection by opponents, including those utilizing advanced techniques such as the Six Eyes employed by Satoru Gojo. Among his preferred weapons were bladed instruments such as swords, knives, daggers, and staffs. However, Toji also demonstrated versatility by employing a handgun during the Star Plasma Vessel Escort Mission, where he used it to eliminate Riko Amanai.

All of Toji's weapons were conveniently stored within his Inventory Curse, a technique that allowed him to compress and swallow his arsenal to avoid detection. Within this mystical storage space, he kept a swarm of Fly Heads that served as effective diversions in various situations.

Toji's strategic adaptability was evident in his choice of weaponry, tailoring his approach to the nature of each encounter. For stealth and surprise attacks, he often relied on conventional weapons devoid of Cursed Energy, rendering them untraceable by opponents. When confronted with potent Cursed Techniques, such as the Gojo clan's Limitless, Toji utilized the Special Grade Cursed Tool known as the Inverted Spear of Heaven, enabling him to neutralize the effects of the opposing technique.

During his second encounter with Satoru Gojo, Toji ingeniously attached the Inverted Spear of Heaven to the Chain of a Thousand Miles, transforming the dagger-like blade into a long-range weapon. This modification allowed him to counter Gojo's Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue and Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, showcasing his adaptability in the face of formidable adversaries.

Indeed, he may have been young and unable to adhere to the clan's values, but Toji was able to easily exorcise the Special Grade Cursed Spirit Dagon, and utterly dominated him in the battle, which took place within Dagon's own Domain. Such feats would have easily ranked him among the strongest characters in the entire world of Jujutsu Kaisen, with only the likes of Satoru Gojo, or Ryomen Sukuna, able to easily defeat him.

Toji's single-handed defeat of Dagon indicated that his strength lay above that of a Special Grade. Furthermore, his intelligence, cool head, and astute planning have allowed him to beat more powerful foes in the past, as seen during the Hidden Inventory Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. Hence, Toji's strength was the product of his physical gifts, his mastery of Cursed Tools, and finally, his immense intellect, which raised him far above those who once scorned him.
