I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss is an isekai anime title set in Fall 2022 that focuses on the wacky romantic adventures of otome games. Aileen d'Autriche, the game's protagonist, was reborn as the game's noxious villainess, but like Katarina Claes before her, Aileen will reinvent her bad girl role and become someone great.

Aileen understands that words and emotions are her best tools for the job, and she has cleverly constructed her own plot armor to survive the story of the Otome game. She married the demon king Claude as his loving fiancée, but thanks to Lilia's schemes, Claude has forgotten about Aileen. Now he doesn't want anything to do with her, but that's just another obstacle for Aileen to overcome. Reuniting with Claude may involve revisiting old ideas rather than new ones.

How Aileen Can Win Claude's Heart Once Again

I'm the Villainess: Claude's Love Life Is More Conflicted Than Ever - But For How Long?_0

Aileen d'Autriche is currently an unwanted character in the anime's central love story. She alienated a lot of people in the Empire and made some enemies with her brazen behavior and self-serving antics in order to become engaged to Claude, the demon king. Aileen must start over because Claude no longer wants her because he has no memory of her. Aileen's story has come full circle, but this time she has plot armor and isn't in danger of becoming collateral damage in a demonic rampage. She may not be pursuing Claude for plot-related reasons, but she is deeply attracted to him personally and wants to reclaim her happy life as Claude's devoted fiancée. She also wants to demonstrate the deceit.

Aileen may not be pursuing Claude for plot-related reasons, but she is deeply attracted to him personally and wants to reclaim her happy life as Claude's devoted fiancée. Aileen also wants to show that Claude is a real person and not just a video game character reading lines from a script, which would contradict the cunning Lilia Rainworth.

When Lilia and Cedric attacked them in Episode 4, fighting a shared enemy undoubtedly helped Aileen and Claude become closer. As a result, now Aileen can relax and wait for her enemies to initiate contact. Although there are some dangers, if Aileen is cautious and moves quickly, she can once more save Claude while also impressing him and helping him regain his memory. It was stated that Claude's memories won't be restored by Aileen's Holy Sword Maiden abilities, but that may work if Claude's demonic minions and pets are closely related to his demon lord title. Aileen and Claude might fall in love all over again if she manages to save Claude from trouble due to his half-demon status while defending his demon lord half. Claude and Aileen were brought together once by that kind of affair, and it could happen again.

How This Tests Claude's True Character

I'm the Villainess: Claude's Love Life Is More Conflicted Than Ever - But For How Long?_1

This entire incident involving Lilia's schemes and Claude's memory loss is a turning point for both Claude and Aileen, the proactive hero. Lilia's antics have made Claude a victim, but they may also reveal a lot about him both before and after he regained his demon lord memories. Being the kind-hearted demon lord and trying to rule the Empire with his human royal blood, Claude is a man of two worlds. It won't be simple for him to bring these two sides together and keep the peace when Lilia and/or Selena challenge him in this way. There is no question as to how Aileen d'Autriche will respond; she will adamantly defend her engagement to Claude. The real concern is Claude's response.

Without his memories, Claude prefers Lilia and Cedric as noble humans, preferring to identify with them rather than demons. That's bad news for Aileen, but Claude doesn't seem to mind. So far, Claude has been cold and distant with Aileen, rebuffing her romantic efforts to reclaim him and restore his demon lord status. A serious part of Claude's mind clearly wishes to simplify his life and abandon the demon half, which Aileen had not anticipated. Claude, on the other hand, is still undecided, and he may not make up his mind until he and Aileen face a common foe.

This could reawaken Claude's memories, and if it does, he will face another test of character. Claude will almost certainly discover that Lilia Rainworth is behind all of this, and he will either punish or forgive her. Claude dislikes being messed with, but he is also gentle and without cruelty. Most likely, his reaction to the truth about Lilia will occur near the end of the anime, and it will reveal a lot about what kind of half-demon Claude truly is. If Claude is merciful, he may demonstrate once more why he was worthy of becoming Aileen's loving fiancé, and if Claude punishes Lilia, fans who want to see Lilia suffer for her actions may be satisfied. In any case, the heroes of I'm the Villainess may fare well.
