The My Hero Academia manga is gradually coming to an end, and right now, there's this intense battle happening between Deku and Tomura Shigaraki. Not too long ago, there was also this epic showdown between All for One and All Might, where All Might was sporting this cool Iron Man-esque suit.

Amidst all the chaos and fighting, there's this uncertainty about what's going on with Katsuki Bakugo. Some fans are even speculating if he might have met his end. But regardless of the situation, Katsuki has undeniably played a significant role in the plot and has left a mark on Deku's journey.

You'll find a bunch of fans online who've been really eager to get updates about Katsuki's character from the author, Kohei Horikoshi. However, lately, the story has been focusing more on characters like Toga and Uraraka, as well as diving into the dynamics between All for One and All Might. Because of this shift in focus, fans are left in the dark, not really knowing what's going on with Katsuki.

The last time we caught a glimpse of Katsuki in the My Hero Academia manga was back in chapter 362. That's when a tragic event occurred – he was actually killed in battle by Tomura Shigaraki. To give you some context, the series currently boasts 396 chapters, meaning that Katsuki hasn't made an appearance within Horikoshi's manga for the past 34 chapters.

In the heat of things, Shigaraki was engaged in a fierce clash with Bakugo and other heroes. Their intention was to buy time for Deku to arrive on the scene. Sadly, Shigaraki swiftly took them down, including Bakugo, who met a grim fate. Both pro heroes and Edgeshot confirmed that Shigaraki had obliterated his heart, and Horikoshi depicted Bakugo's final thoughts before he passed away.

While it might seem pretty clear that the character was killed off, there's a curious twist. There was a scene hinting at the potential revival of Bakugo.

Given that the pro hero has the ability to manipulate the shape of his body at will, it appears that he might be attempting something extraordinary – essentially offering up the necessary body parts to restore Katsuki's heart. Think of it as a kind of Quirk-powered heart transplant.

However, as of now, the manga hasn't revealed whether this daring plan has actually succeeded.

The validity of Bakugo being brought back

The debate surrounding Katsuki Bakugo's potential resurrection in the My Hero Academia manga is currently one of the hottest topics within the anime community.

While Bakugo is undeniably a fan-favorite character, there's a significant group of fans who argue that his continued absence could actually serve the storyline better. For them, his death could add depth to the plot and provide further motivation for the main character.

Another point of view stems from the observation that the author has been somewhat hesitant to kill off characters thus far. Many fans believe that the ongoing story arc needs some impactful deaths to elevate the stakes. If every character emerges unscathed, the ending might appear too perfect, lacking the necessary challenges for a compelling narrative.

Lately, the My Hero Academia manga has adopted a more somber tone in its recent storylines, and Bakugo's demise could be seen as the culmination of this thematic shift.

The decision to eliminate a central character, especially one as beloved as Bakugo, might seem risky. However, such a choice could potentially yield greater rewards for the author than opting for his revival, particularly considering the complex scenario introduced by Edgeshot.

There is a good chance Katsuki Bakugo comes back to life and have a final showdown with Tomura Shigaraki along with Deku. The strange decision made by Edgeshot seems to suggest that and would appease the character's passionate and vocal fanbase.

However, it remains to be seen if this is the best decision for the plot in the My Hero Academia manga.
