SPY x FAMILY and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One have joined forces to merge the thrilling worlds of spies and assassins. The latest installment of Mission: Impossible has received a special treatment, as the characters from SPY x FAMILY recreate the movie’s poster, which also reveals the release date for the upcoming CODE: White film (December 22).
To further establish the connection between Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and SPY x FAMILY, a special video featuring Lloyd (voiced by Takuya Eguchi) has been unveiled. The movie has premiered in the USA today and will be arriving in Japan on July 21.
The SPY x FAMILY anime can be streamed on Crunchyroll. The plot revolves around Twilight, a secret agent who must undertake his most challenging mission yet in order to preserve world peace. He is tasked with assuming the role of a family man, posing as a loving husband and father to infiltrate an elite school and get close to a high-profile politician. However, complications arise as his wife happens to be a deadly assassin, and neither of them is aware of each other’s true identity. The only one who knows their secret is their adopted daughter, who possesses telepathic abilities.
